Gurus here,am back again.
Pls i got an offer for civic 2010 and 2007... D design for d 2010 is more wack while the 2007 looks better n balaanced, and am looking at choosing d 07, moreover,d 2010 is 320km on odometer while 07 is 210km....de both cleaned in and out and toks...pls why is the 2010 not fine like 2007 and which do u suggest i choose putting into consideration der maintainance too
The Civic 07 and 10 are the same 8th generation civic.
There shouldn't be a significant difference.
I suspect the difference in looks is because one is asian and the other american.
Pls confirm this from the dealer.

Nothing bad about that car if you can't afford the competition. Fuel efficient and rides comfortably

I was most recently faced with this decision and I went with the ES330.

The 3MZ engine is better more reliable than that coffin inside the 2010 Camry.

Suspension feels stiffer and better too.

I don't to talk about the interior, you can look and see the difference is 7up for yourself.

The only thing es330 has against it is that fish type shape which is supposed to help with the aerodynamic airflow.

Just get the 05/06.
Trash..Didn't u see the bad road problem??

Car Gurus in the house. I saw a friend's XC90 VOLVO and I fell in love with it. I intend getting one within the next few weeks. What is the pro and cons. what is the best year for me to buy. I would definately appreciate it.

"Better" engine is relative. An engine can be better than others in some categories, and be less effective in other categories.

The 2007 XC90 only has 2 engine variants. 3.2l I6, and 4.4l V8. The T5 and T6 engines were eliminated for the XC90 after 2006. There's also the D5 engine for 2007, but that's a diesel engine and wasn't available in North America.

The 3.2l I6 is capable for the XC90, puts out 235 bhp and adequate torque, gets the vehicle up and moving reasonably well. The fuel efficiency is also adequate for its weight and is comparable to other models in that category.

The 4.4l V8 is the top engine for the 07 XC90. Puts out 311 bhp, impressive torque for its size, and is the engine of choice for the active driver. Naturally the expected worry would be fuel economy in a V8, however the difference in real world fuel economy between the V8 and the I6 is really not significant, under normal, average driving conditions in everyday commuting.

Slam on the V8 throttle however, and all that changes. The increased V8 performance naturally translates to increased fuel consumption and lower fuel economy. The same applies to the I6 in spirited driving, but less so.

A vehicle is much more than just its engine, of course.

The V8 engine comes in the top XC90 trims, and typically has the most available options. AWD, third row seating, rear AC setup, pop up display, headrest DVD displays, etc. If you're lucky and find the V8 Sport trim, it's the Holy grail for the 07. Had fine leather stitching, blue backlit dash gauges, sport 19" wheels, sport exhaust tips, and other V8 sport specific options.

The 3.2l I6 typically is available in FWD, may also have third row seating and the entertainment options.

Both trims are mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission from AISIN-WARNER, which does a relatively capable job. Certainly better than the earlier T5 and T6, the latter of which was a well known fiasco.

In summary, your priorities would determine which trim would be most suitable.

Do you get upset and triggered when random vehicles accelerate past you? The V8 is the engine for you.

Do you enjoy engine baritone? That deep hum that shows up during spirited driving? The V8 is the engine for you.

Do you pay more attention to smiles per gallon, at the expense of miles per gallon?

The V8 is the engine for you.

Do you often traverse poor, offroad inclined terrain? The Haldex AWD would do you some good, though it may not be the most powerful in its class.

The V8 is the engine for you.

Good ride, use quality oil, parts are a bit pricey when available. It's a luxurious sports car dont expect much fuel economy with the 3.7L HR engine but the economy is smiles per gallon handles well too on the road.

Lol.... Honda Pilot is one of the most underrated SUV in Nigeria. Daily driving one has changed my view about Hondas and cars generally. Haven't driven a Prado. So I Can't compare. But Pilot is good

Pilot is so cool I drive one and it just does everything well plus Honda is very responsible doesn't just stop you on the road anyhow like some other brands do ND so on

The bolded is so true, parts are kind of scarce. Ordinary linkage is hard to find. My wife uses the G37x and fuel economy is quite okay

I had to delete the front sway bar link rods from my wife's G35x due to scarcity of that part. Importation of that part is annoyingly expensive too.

Haven’t driven one yet but I own the 2008 G35X.

I just don’t know if it’s me but I’m always smiling in that ride.

I haven’t had any reason to source for parts but you must take car of that ride and be ready to use only quality fluids and parts.

Let us know what you finally get

It doesn't have same sway bar link ends. The picture I upload is for a G35x V35 chassis.

How’s the power performance of the G25X?
Why didn’t you go for the power in the G35X or G37X?

My brother the G25x powers sucks.. It does not pick up fast at all .....

I bought the car at dealer auction.. I wasn't expecting to win it based on my budget.. The car was neatly very neatly used ... I believe it was a trade in .. The car was super clean .......

So before bidding for the car .. I drove it a bit and I was wondering why the car is not making that turbo sound..

My previous car was a Nissan Altima ser .. They don't make them anymore . it was made from 2005 and 2006... So I was addicted to the speed and turbo sound of the ser. So I was expecting it from the g25x thinking it was a g35× ...

So after winning the bid and drove the car home.. I notice it was not fast at all like my Nissan Altima ser .. I thought something was wrong with the car ..... So when I finally got home . I now did a 360 look around of the car .. I now saw the G25x logo and than Google it .. I than find out that it only has about 206hp . I almost cried .. I was very upset at myself.....for people that like speed like me, I would not advice them to get it.......

The take off speed is very embarrassing and it seems lite on the highway.. It is a smaller engine . but once the speed picks up ... Am hoping to get a 2011 upwards g37Xs if I can find a good deal ...

So stick to the G35 or G37 from 2010 upwards.. Get the sport version.. It is much faster over 300hp.. Fun cars...

Infiniti never used turbo in their G25 series pls.
That said, that car is by no measure light weight. It's 3534ibs which when converted to kg is 1,602kg. It's heavier than a Camry V6 2010 which weights in at 3,516ibs or 1,594kg.
