It seems stupidity runs in the Obanikoro family. This fool studied Political science and ended up as a fish farmer breeding Tilapia and catfish before becoming an House of Reps Member.

Because he has spent 2 years feeding on government money just like his failure of a father, he thinks he's in a position to give stupid advice on currency and the economy. I don't blame him. It is that bald failure in the CBN who has given nonentities like this Obanikoro mouth to talk. If Emefiele did his job well, fish farmers won't be passing bills on Bank accounts.
Wait oo, do you in any way have dom acct?

I'm on the same page with those calling for the suspension of domiciliary account or better still let it be reviewed. I'm of the strong opinion that domiciliary account is aiding the activities of currency speculators by being where they deposit the huge amount of foreign currencies. The cbn should decree that money should no longer be saved in dom account except it's just for payment purpose within a stipulated time. this will make speculators to desist from hoarding the currency since there will be no place to deposit it.

How are we rich?

There's 200 million Nigerians, if you divide that money among everyone it's 80 dollars or 46,000 naira.

Even if you divide it by one million that's still 9 million naira but still less than the yearly minimum wage of an American.

I ask again how are we rich?

I won't be surprise at this sponsored bulletin cos Buhari administration might want to do something with domiciliary accounts of people

My question is it a crime to be a Nigeria? You are eating the future of generations unborn and yet the money they make you are still looking for ways to take it or freeze it. What sort of recommendation by the evil party member?

Lest not forget they once tried to take money left in private people's account left untouch for 6 months or so and also shares yet unclaimed. Where do u see this kind of evil policy anywhere in the world except in Nigeria

Anyway, Nigerians love suffering and smiling

Why do you think BMC members sold their birthright cos of 30k per month trying to defend the mannequin and result into insults at times

The question begging for answer is, how long has this APC members been planning for this evil? They have a way of doing it.

Is this how powerful evil can triumph?

That's just the amount of dollars sitting in dom accounts only.
Its nothing compared to Naira sitting in regular accounts or even dollars sitting in foreign accounts, assets that can be converted to liquid, shares, investments etc

The Federal government should go and be inventive about generating forex through exports and stop this shamelessly dubious attempt at dictating to people and corporations. It's not the job of the government to lecture folks on how to manage their resources, especially when the said feds have failed woefully and repeatedly on issues like making good fiscal and monetary policies. The solid mineral sector alone is capable of shoring up the forex problems of the country but crooks, herdsmen and Jihadists are allowed to solidly control this sector while ripping off the country... It's insane...
Exactly. They think economics is all about chesslike movement of money or some game of monopoly. It is about production and the moment they impeded production of crop for cattle's to blossom, the problem worsened. If I have cotton buds and nice chocolates locally produced will I ever need forex to import one? Same thing for other items like milk, palm oil, and poultry.

The parasitic government of Hausa-Fulani led by Wicked general Buhari, always look to reap where they never sew.
Same way they passed a dubious bill to convert and claim all unclaimed dividends that belong to the Southerners.
I look through the list of available unclaimed dividends, I could not see 1% of Hausa-Fulani on the list.
This mean, 99% of unclaimed dividends belong to the Yorubas and ibos.
The worse thing is that the Wicked general is planning to cease the money and use it to develop the desert and non-productive conquered Northern Nigeria area and Niger republic.
Useless government. Always borrowing.
Parasitic and non-ambitious Hausa-Fulani that cannot survive without the sweat, labour and resources of the South.
Very manipulative people.
Specialist in divide , conquer and ruin.
Lmao, sadly you cannot do shit about it.

If it was actually up to the needed $30bn, he might not be way off the mark, after all we use what we have at our disposal to get whatever we want

Most of those monies in dom accounts belong to politicians, especially those from the North, without doubts successful businessmen too, but most parts are stolen by them (politicians)

Even you that has less than $20m ( to overbloat your ego) you’re here talking fiscal policy, when the man you’re having a grouse with knows his friends who just keep monies in dom accounts, creating scarcity (artificial), don’t just look at this issue from a legit perspective

Weeks ago, one of the beneficiaries of the sham called subsidy was facing trial in Ikeja, you need to know how much these people have in dom accounts to know this dollar scarcity isn’t totally a natural thing

Sometimes, you need to look further than what is said, try from another lens, albeit on this part the Honorable reps member didn’t even consider that the deficits we have can’t be filled by the solution he proffered.

I've a domiciliary account, since I heard the bullsh*t said by this lunatic man obanikoro, I've simply moved a chunk of the money to my online wallet. I cannot bear the brunt of leadership failure with the money I spent years of sleepless night to earn through my online freelancing and marketing, despite government unable to provide jobs for graduates. All of my earnings came from outside Nigeria from white people I work with.

Please Which online wallet do you use? And how do you transfer from Dom account to the wallet.

Lazy politicians looking for easy way out meanwhile they are not ready to change their lifestyle and wasteful spendings. They are only seeking to impoverish the people while they and their family members are flexing. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

No clear-cut plan to improve the economy, no commitment to the development of industries and building manpower, no economic policy for sustained capital development, no readiness on their part to make sacrifices (denying themselves luxury at the expense of the people). All they do is allocation of oil earnings and plundering the treasury. angry angry angry angry angry angry angry
