The Central Bank of Nigeria spent the sum of N58.618 billion to print 2.518 billion Naira notes, valued at 1. 063 trillion in, 2020.

The correct headline should have been:

CBN spends N58.618 billion Naira to print N1.063 trillion Naira.

Knowing how foolish the average nigerian is, the headline will be taken literally to mean that CBN used N58.618 billion Naira to print N2.518 billion Naira.
Meanwhile what they printed was two billion, five hundred and eighteen million NAIRA NOTES.

There might be nothing wrong with it. The question is what is the value of the 2.5bliion pieces of naira note. The value cannot be 2.5billion naira because there's no 1naira note. If u multiply it by 50naira or 100naira, u will see that d value far exceeds the cost of printing. But am sure the cost can be considering d Nigerian factor of inflating costs
