See grammar school pupils clearing As up and down. Where is King's College, Queen College, CMS Grammar School, St Gregory College - all mouth. not to talk of those private schools in VI and Lekki that pay school fees in dollars ( I think those ones write international exams)

Lagos State Government is run by serious minded people and will rather tax that money than give it to BBN people.
I am happy about this development and congratulate the winners.

I hope the Governor will use this opportunity to raise the state bursary of Lagos indigene students, National Union of Lagos State Students (NULASS).

Well one cannot be dismissive without data
One must look at overall performance of the school not just best candidates
Another thing is is it down to individual factors e.g drive and motivation ?
Does the quality of teaching play a role?
Children of teachers may do very well even if they are in a "local" school
