You don't know how "Diasporians" so much mistrust friends and family at home where money is concerned.


He probably doesn't want to lose his cuz trust and if the buyer starts pressuring his life, his immediate family will know and news might get to his cuz abroad.



I stand on my earlier assertion, he didn't remit me full amount to his cuz.

Simple. It's not about how much was paid, it's about the nature of the transaction. This is not a transaction where you give warranty, even if you go to odolowu or other warehouses and buy tested stuff, it's at owner's discretion, so if you use it for a week and it goes bad, will you go back there?

Especially not after 3 weeks.

You don't understand.

He didn't do anything wrong as long as he sold the item above the owner's asking price.

His only mistake was entertaining nonsensical feedback from the buyer after three weeks.


If you are conversant with street business, any feedback after 24hrs or less sef is Insha Allah cheesy

Nothing shady I am 100% certain of what I sold to him as at the time the TV was in my care , am just the type of person that usually have pity on someone quickly, I can give you my last card even if I haven't eaten , that's just who I am, it has absolutely nothing to do with shadiness

Lol grin grin I didn't see any profit , TV was sold for 150k and that was what I remitted to the owner who happens to be my cousin, I only decided to give the buyer 20k because of the way he talked and am someone that likes to put myself in the shoes of others. I fit give person my last penny even though I never chop, that's just who I am anyways.

Based on advises received from people here , I have told the buyer that I can't refund another extra money since it took him 3 LONG WEEKS!!! perhaps the tv got spoilt from his own end . He threatened hell and brimstone, me sef no come care again. I have tried my best.
