See as nyanmiris are seriously pained. See dem drooling all the thread when they see better thing happening in Osun. Ogun is the most industrialized state followed by Lagos, l in the southwest. No be we do am, na baba God. We make our region conducive for anyone to come and do business, then contribute to the growth of our region at the expense of theirs while we sit back and enjoy the taxes, then reinvest those taxes. Yorùbá is the smartest tribe in Africa. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

funshint:There are more resources than these in South west. We Just need to have a robust mining industry which will serve as a spring broad under which other sectors will be developed like in successfull countries like South Africa, Australia and some countries in Europe. But It should be private sector led with regulations by the government to generate revenue and Jobs. 4 Likes |

Many people don’t even know the company is the brainchild of a Yoruba guy. It is co-owned by him and some white guys. So this is a joint venture and a welcome development. 15 Likes 1 Share |

daddytime: They have a modern practical experience of mining the metal, the requisite technology and the expertise in getting the maximum benefits from the mine. So their coming is a big plus for the state and the country economic wise. And this is an acceptable practice all over the world: Toyota is big in America, Suzuki is big in India, China is the factories of major fashion and digital phone outlets. No bad feelings, as long as the home countries also enjoy the gains. As for Nigeria, until we get our politics, economic strategies and infrastructural facilities right, we will still be tied to the aprons of international companies seeking for the big profits. But as long as our citizens and economy is benefitting somehow, we should be thankful. Because if they did not come to tap these resources, we will be poorer for it. 3 Likes |
