We learn of Jephthah in Judges 11 who sacrificed his daughter. Was it an act of righteousness or murder?

You've learnt incorrectly of Jephthah in Judges 11, if you believed that, he sacrificed his daughter.

Argue with Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10, Leviticus 18:21 and 2 Kings 21:6, if you want to

... Was it an act of righteousness or murder?
Asking, if it was an act of righteousness or murder, is not only, a dead on arrival question, but also is, an ignorant and invalid asked question, based on the technicality that God doesn't support a form of irrational human being sacrifice

AntiChristian:

...no be ritual be that?
Ritual is, a series of actions performed according to a prescribed order.

For example, when if waking up, you routinely get out of bed, kneel down to do a daily devotion and prayers, get up go to restroom, have a dump, next bathroom, to brush teeth followed by having a bath or shower, then grab a toasted sandwich with strong brewed coffee, settle down to catch up the news on the dailies or whatnot etc, now all those aforementioned activities, if daily done and carried out like in that same order everyday, then it essentially represents, what is called a ritual, of some sort.

Quran 19:33

And the security/peace (was) on me (on the) day I was born, and (the) day I die, and (the) day I be sent/resurrected/revived alive

No! Ritual in this context is what is not called Yahoo Plus in Nigeria. Killing people for others to progress. This is similar to what you claim God did by sending His son to be killed for others to progress!

God, came down to earth to die.

In order to save you, every one , all of us, from eternal damnation, God died your death, my death and every other human beings' death. God didnt have to die, but for the love, God has for you, for me and for the rest of the world, God came down to earth, incarnated as Jesus, to die.

God, in the person of Jesus, laid down His life. He gave it willingly because He has the power to give it up and the power to receive it back again

Now, tell, how many of those killing people for others to progress, can restore back to life the people they kill?

Sacrifice Jesus did is for our sin. Not just for our normal sins o, but the sin we all inherited from Adam. Of course it also works for our general sins. The sacrifice Jesus made is once and for all.

God didn't command him to sacrifice his daughter. He was binded by his own words. Just like Saul told his army not to eat anything until dawn. Jonathan his son actually ate honey because he wasn't aware of the oath and Saul wanted to kill him.

God was against the pagan practice of the Israelites burning their children alive

Why does God need to come down?
I could give you a lot of reasons or why God need to come down, but the long and short of it is that, it is out of love, as I earlier did advance that made Him come down

AntiChristian:
Why So Jesus was praying to himself all the time he was praying?
It is not unusual to pray to Oneself and/or one self

who said "This is my beloved son in whom i'm well pleased?"
God said that

John 10:11
'I am the Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for the sheep.
'

John 10:18
'No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily.
For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again.
'

As I earlier advanced, God, in the person of Jesus, laid down His life. He gave it willingly because He has the power to give it up and the power to receive it back again

AntiChristian:
You mean He slide through the birth canal of his creation?
God is described as I AM, that, I AM, meaning, God will become whatsoever is necessary, He be, in order to achieve His purpose. Meaning, God will slide through whatsoever is necessary, and let it be so and proper, in order to fulfil all righteousness

AntiChristian:
This is condescending for someone called God!
You obviously dont know or understanding what condescending is. Unlike you, God is Humble enough to do whatever is necessary for Him to come down to our level and rescue

AntiChristian:
No one has done that.
If no has done that, then what gives them the right to kill and take another person's life then?

You really need to read your bible
Judges 11
30 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,

31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
It's not my opinion, I did not write the words. I was not the one that instructed Jephthah to use his daughter for a burnt offering.

Yes Jephthah's action was contrary to what is written in the verses you quoted so what is your point? Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10, Leviticus 18:21, and 2 Kings 21:6 are all contrary to Jephthah's action. I really want to know what you are getting at. judges 11
31 whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

39 After the two months, she returned to her father, and he did to her as he had vowed. And she was a virgin.

From this comes the Israelite tradition 40 that each year the young women of Israel go out for four days to commemorate the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite.
The custom was that each year for 4 days, the young women commemorate her. Commemorate means recall and show respect for in simple English.
