BZion:

Apologies. She has been working since 2010 till date.
I doubt though that she pension records for all her years because some companies did not pay her pension while she worked with them. I hope this wouldn't pose a problem.

I was of the opinion that she has to have written the Australian qualifying exams as a pharmacist before she can assess and apply. Please correct/confirm this assertion.

I intend to study data analytics/science which is a growing field and hopefully get a job in that field

What I deduce from your post is that studying in a regional university is the best approach. I was wondering if one would be able to get a job to pay off outstanding school fees if one decides to enrol in schools like that.

Does she have tax statement, bank statement showing salary payments?
Yes, she needs to write the exams. The APharmC has Dubai option now. Also, she can assess as a pharmacy technician. That does not require exams.
Data Analytics is good. Do you have experience in that?
Thousands of students from all over the world are in all these regional areas and most of the people I know are paying their fees themselves from the work they do. Some students sef get money pass citizens and PR holders. (if you know you know).
Na you go tire for work when you eventually land one.

Can a Lawyer apply for this Aussie PR? Please I need your urgent response. Thanks.
Yes. Depends on experience and what the lawyer does. Although, assessment with SLAA (State Legal Admission Authority) is not an easy or cheap process

Hello,

I am just looking at Australia from the UK via the PR route / schooling for spouse. I am currently studying Msc cybersecurity while is looking at Nursing if its study route we choose to follow

Which areas are classified as regional? And what advantages are attached to regional schooling

Also, how long does the AU pr take? is it up to like 2 years like canada?

Sorry for my plenty questions

Thank you
Classified areas: Anywhere except Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
Advantages: read more on the student thread and google
How long: there is no definitive timeline. Some took 9 months, some less and some have been waiting for over 36 months. (thanks to covid)

If you are assessing as a manager, previous non-managerial roles are not added to your experience calculation.
In that case, a 4 year course won't fly. The master has to be added, although I don'yt know what the outcome will be.
Please check IML website for their assessment requirement. It's been a while someone I know assess with IML

Thanks for your response: we'll be going with VETASSESS then.
Please I want to know if there's need to attest the certificates/documents to be used for the VETASSESS assessment?
Then as regards letters of employment, do we have to provide payslips for all the places my husband has worked?

For some places where he worked we can't find the payslips, can we get bank statement to back it up or which other documents can we tender instead of payslip.
Thanks for your time always

Speak to your network provider before you leave the country.
Also, move your contacts to your phone and not on SIM.

You can transfer your contacts to your Phone as Tunlex suggested.
You can also save your contacts on your Google Account, so that once you sign into Google on any new phone, your contacts are sent in.

Hello. The only occupation I have seen related to your discipline is Aquaculture Farmer [121111: Plan, organise, control, coordinate and perform farming operations to breed and raise fish and other aquatic stock.]
If the description above matches what you do at work, then Good first step.

From what I have seen, the only Visa you are eligible for is 491 Visa but that's not a problem. In fact, you can apply right now to South Australia seeing that you have 8 years of experience. Please note that you'd need a minimum of 7.5 (in each of the Modules ie Listening, Writing, Speaking, Reading) in IELTS and minimum point of 65 ( This can be calculated here: https://www.anzscosearch.com/points-test/ )

The Organisation that will assess you is VETASSESS ( https://www.vetassess.com.au/ ) I am not familiar with their processes but I believe their website as well as info from this group should help. You'd need evidence of payment to prove you've been employed for all that period which typically is one or more of the below:

Payment evidence:

Payment evidence can include one of the following types:
Pay slips (ideally your first and last payslip);
Taxation Records of Assessment (bearing company and applicant name)
Bank Statements showing at least two salary payments, your name and the employer's name; OR
Employment-linked insurance / superannuation records (bearing company and applicant name).

If you are able to scale the IELTS hurdle, I really believe you have a great chance because it's not a common profession. Wishing you all the best!

@tunlex01 and @Knight1 please I need your advice and that of every other member of this group.

My husband total score for visa subclass 491 is 95 inclusive of the 15points for regional. While for 190 he has 85 inclusive of 5points for state nomination. Now the issue here is he was previously denied dependent visa subclass 500 twice while I was still studying in Australia.

However, his now applying as the primary applicant for visa 491 and/or 190 (depends on which one sends invites first). The question here is do you think his refusal for dependent visa will be a red flag for him while applying for the PR.

N.b his applying as the primary applicant while I go in as his dependent this time because he studied engineering and graduated with a first class, has an IELTS of 8.5 in L, S, W, and 9.0 in Reading. Also 6years work experience inclusive of NYSC experience. Also note that I studied accounting and isn't lucrative as a pathway for PR that's why am not applying.

Thanks as I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Unless he was refused on grounds of health or character, I doubt it would be a problem, to the best of my knowledge.
Can't say I know sufficiently to advice on that so I'd recommend this Facebook Group for questions you may not have answers for here.

[Thank you very much. This was really helpful. His denial has basically nothing to do with health or character. First denial was because there was no proof of landed property. Second denial was because of the economic condition of my country (Nigeria).

Do you think NYSC experience can be added to his work experience?

Apologies. Hadn't noticed there wasn't a response to this.

I don't know what stage of the application you are in but it's always key to be honest with their system so on the first level, declare that you have. Wife and kids.

Now if you've been invited, I'd suggest you at least go with your wife. I've read of people waiting years before their partners could join them. By the time you are invited, you have an almost 100% chance of being nominated provided you can provide evidence to back your points. So I'd recommend you do all to move with your wife, at least
