MaameU: Really depends on your family's priorities. Do other members of the family have visas (visit or OWP) that permits you all to accompany oga immediately? If you do I would say, you all plan to go in Aug/Sep. Even if you all don't, if money is not a problem and you are not worried about being away from spouse, then he can plan to leave sometime in Aug/Sep...I say Aug/Sep because you still have 2/3 months from now within which they could approve your PR application. If money is tight and you don't want to be separated from each other, you could decide to forget about school totally. Only concern is the wait time to the approval of your PR. Doing this means you are making the assumption that PR approval is certain. If it were me, I would let hubby go (or the whole family go if we all have visas), we'll struggle to pay fees one semester at a time until we get PR......a bird in hand....When you get PR, as PNP you'll need to leave Nova Scotia for ON and abandon school or complete it by distance learning, if possible. 3 Likes |

5454Darese:Says who? Do you understand the implication of what he wrote? So what if his application falls into the hand of a VO that is very detailed and decides to check? Please let’s be careful with the kind of advice we give people when it comes to sensitive issues like this. @Ade9k, please do as GraciousWords has said. You need to put in a strong LOE detailing why you didn’t include it in your student visa application. A guy had the same issue and he was given a PFL. Once given a PFL, it takes the grace of God to come back victorious. 3 Likes |

trishaben: The experience can be from more than one full time job , but the first must be more than 1 year . Meaning if you have 1+ year experience in a field , 2 years experience in another field . You can claim the 3 years experience that gives maximum points for work experience . I can see you have the 3 years already , just wanted to clear your thought |

Good evening house...please I have a few questions on passport stamping. 1. I plan to send my passport through VFS Lagos. Do I have to pay the transmission fee if I did my biometrics in the Lagos office? I still have the white slips we were given during biometrics. 2. I am sending passports for a family of 3. Can I use a single envelope for all our passports/documents? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by 5454Darese: 7:01pm On Jun 18, 2022 |
Solidcitizen: You don’t need to pay transmission fees since you did your biometrics there. Yes you can use a single envelope. They will separate them later at the vfs. |

Hello everyone. This is a follow-up to some questions I asked previously and I appreciate your answers then. Like I said then, I studied engineering and I served for a year in the engineering department of a ministry. For close to 4 years now I've been managing my family business. It is actually a pure water company. Initially I was doing it for free, but I recently started receiving payment for the work I am doing there so as to begin to build a salary trail for myself. The amount I'm being paid from the company is N200k. Thus, I have a couple of questions: 1) Can a pure water company be accepted as a legitimate company for the purposes of Canadian immigration? 2) Is the N200k excessive to receive as salary for managing such a company? 3) Is there a NOC for business management or something similar? 4) Does it matter that it is a family-owned company? Any letter (such as recommendation letter) would be written by Dad and that would make the relationship between us obvious as it would show we share a surname. s) Can you use experience from 2 totally different jobs? For example could I use one year of my engineering experience at the ministry and combine that with the couple of years at my family's company? 6) If question 5 above is possible, how does that affect the NOC you're supposed to pick? I believe you're limited to choosing just one NOC. Does that mean that you select a NOC that covers one of the 2 jobs while ignoring the other one? I apologise if some of these questions have been previously answered here and I thank you in advance for your replies. |

InformationPro:I dont think it can because I believe transcript process is been handled by non academic staff. But it is better to get in touch with the school. You have to monitor the process |

MrWalterW83: Hi 1. The important thing is your role in the organisation and not the company background. So yes, it can be accepted. 2. It is okay 3. There should be. Use the NOC finder on the IRCC website. 4. It doesn't matter so far as you can provide the necessary documents required by IRCC when submitting your application or any additional documents that may be required in the future. 5 and 6. Yes, you can use multiple NOCs. Your one year NYSC and the couple of years at your dad's company can be used. Do what GraciousWords advised to get more info on the matter. All the best. |
