Hello great farmers... My pullets are 19 weeks today and i am feeding them 15kg of hipro growers mash daily 135 in number, they are on cage. Majority of them are 1.4kg - 1.5kg and the have not started laying. Someone please help one what i can do.

Kindly take yourself away from the agricultural section. There is no catching of cruise here .

This birds are from zartech and this is the first time am buying from them. Anyone with experience on zartech bird or someone that something like this has happen to please help.

Don’t panic, this birds I’m seeing will drop in a week time. Birds drops sometimes 20 and 21 weeks.

mine have gone past 19 (since the first week of march, even though I stopped counting for my own sanity)still no show, a lot of people say some start laying after 30 weeks

19 weeks not a single egg may not necessarily be an issue, it becomes one at 21weeks.

do you have their medical record
3in1 nd+ib+ ?
deworming
how many grams are you feeding them per bird
multivitamins ?
what sort of feed- layers,grower or prelay?
how many hours of light are they getting
do they finish the feed allocation daily?

If I were you I would be feeding them prelay feed to increase their calcium in take and give chance to build strong bones in readiness for lay.
1350 body weight should start eating prelay feed because you know in a week or 2 they will start laying and once you hit 20% switch to a layer mash.

My 23 weeks would have been on 60% now if not for infections I am treating even with that we are steady on 30 %

I give them lasota every month cos i have a small number and i can't afford 3 in 1 for 1k birds
Yeah deworm and delouse every month
110 grams per day
Am still using 12 hours daylight since they have not started laying

mine is 23 weeks and 3 days, yet not a drop of egg. I guess I should be very worried

Check the feed make sure they are not underfed, layers react quickly to any slight change in quality and quantity of feed, i.e low calcium intake, and more importantly self you should have stopped grower mash since age 15wk as it does not adequate cover d requirement for the laying phase .check the routine medication timetable , make sure there is no stressor around and above all relax ur mind birds especially the Isa brown you are having do start dropping from 19wks to 23weeks those saying 30 weeks nah Internet farmers dem be

Whats the point worrying?
check their weight ,you need 1.5kg minimum
their feed nko layers or grower and how many grams per bed. how uniform are they?
in fact which feed are you giving them.
3in1 nko or atleast
lice and worms nko
if you think they need more time to eat up ,increase the lighting but max 16hours ni o

Oga speak to a good vet and ask him sbout nd+ib -2.in1only since you havent done Eds 3in 1

get someone knowledgeable to help you inspect and observe things. get a good vet on the farm - lots of gambling vets out there

THINGS I DID DIFFERENTLY:
1. i started regulating their feed from 8 weeks when i changed to growers mash so i stopped at 18 weeks when i noticed none have dropped and started feeding adlib so try to feed adlib from small if you can.
2. I added vitamins to their water twice a week and checked them for lice.
3. Someone told me to introduce light since they're mostly over 1.5kg so On Saturday night i introduced light for 1 hour and the next day they dropped their 1st two eggs so provide light if you can. And i have been increasing the light 1 hour everyday till i get to 16 hours. Thanks.

mine just dropped an egg yesterday and today for the first time. I measured one at random and it weighed 3.3kg I am guessing it is overweight.

Congrats they will lay just change to layers and add lighting

Dangerously overweight, are you sure the scale is reading properly because that wieght iis broiler territory.
Ask your feed seller : whats the max you can give them. the general rule is - 125g per bird
maxi weight at this point should be 1.9kg
