Access bank too very worst , apart from exposing data , if u go to access bank customer care at badagry for complaining those ladies will abuse you ,he get one fat lady like this na no manner suppose to be her name , bank no b like before again , they will debit u and to complain na abuse they go abuse u

If the bank fails to pay back the money stolen from an account holder, then the CBN should automatically pay the account holder and charge the corresponding bank with higher interest for such negligence.

They should send searchlight to access bank. Them too steal my money and for account wey I no dey use ATM for too. When i aked for print out, i just dey see old and new balance for statement print out, but no destination of money disappearance in between the old and new statement.come see drama. Very irritating.

If they do that just watch how Nigerian banks will frustrate you. They will either make you only execute transfer instructions on video, of over the counter.

But seriously, frauds hardly happen in personal accounts without the account holder completing it. It is just education of the masses that will solve this. As I am now, I don't see how someone can sweep my account if not the bank directly debiting my account. I had to block that stupid USSD on my account just by entering the wrong pin several times and I am asked to come to the bank to unblock it. SO even if u have access to my sim, u can't even do shi shi.

Some countries abroad, before u complete some transactions, u must authorise it from an app that can only be installed on one phone, and that app is your security for almost everything you do. If for any reason you send money to someone and go to the bank to claim it was a fraud, the bank has no business with that. Go and tell your story to the police.

Recently, an Australian girl was scammed of all her life savings, She transferred the money to the scammer in the bank. She went to the bank to reverse or recover the fund but the bank told her she initiated the transfer so there is nothing they can do. na so the scammer get field day squander the money

You are most def right - In 2021 I came into Nigeria, got a SIM, had not called even anyone with it - went into UBA to open an acct - I requested to also get a dollar acct, unfortunately after taking copy of the form i filled with my phone number in it, I could not complete the process because a document was missing. I was asked to come back the next day, but i couldn't. 2 days later, i received a call from supposedly UBA staff, stating he is my acct officer, and needed to ask me few questions, that i shud be prepared to answer. I was like, an acct that has not even been completed. 2 days later, he called stating the same thing, fortunately i was on my way to UBA, I told him not to worry, that I am in the bank myself, he can come out and talk to me in person - Next thing, he started cursing.
I reported to their Manager, he told me since i have not provided any details to him, i had nothing to worry about. Me, i JAPA straight, left immediately.
