I tried adding a fingerprint but I get an error whenever I do (please see attached)

NB; I am using a screen protector so I’m trying to understand how that can be an issue . I’d love if anyone could let me know how to fix this so I can add the fingerprint option to my new machine .

Anyway i need a honest review of someone who has used or is using redmi A1 plus. i walked into a phone outlet on my way back from work, asked about easy buy, they said they do. immediately,the guy brought out a list of infinix phones and showed me hot 20i. wont lie the phone is beautiful with nice display but i asked about xiaomi and the least phone there was the a1plus,the display was better than smart 6 which i was also shown. i couldnt go through with the process cause my bvn wasnt on my phone coupled with the fact that i only have 14k instead of the 20k they demanded as first deposit. when i got home,i looked up the phone but the review i got on gsmarena were very negative. pls im sorry for this long epistle. i used a button phone to type and i felt the effort would be wasted if i dont post all!
