How do you use the media box. I went to skysport and I found the NOW sport. It has daily sub and monthly sub. So I decided to do monthly sub. Then I clicked the chelsea vs Everton match, the thing dis not go. The only reason I sub was this match. Pls how do you do the virgin media box abeg. If possible, I will make a case and get my money back from skysport

I connect it with my TV.

I did Winter Sale With Virgin Media on a contract of £54/Month to watch all the sports package (BT Sport & SkySport) and all the TV station here.

The package include 1.1Gbps of Internet + one year Netflix

No make me cry nah Lexus baba 😭😭😭😭

The only thing that doesn't come with it is the restrictions on weekend games and some mid week games.

Reason why I sub is because of the Internet speed of 1. 1Gbps which most of other providers don't have..

HOUSE CONTENT INSURANCE

For those that have such cover, how is it and is it advisable?

What value do you place on your contents........
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by lightnlife: 10:52pm On Mar 18, 2023
Minimal value; the majority of them are sourced from Charity Shops. grin

The quotes on comparison sites pegged the minimal value at 15K...We just laughed, knowing all the content no reach 10K.

I'm curious but why the emphasis on the speed in your decision making? With 60Mbps you can watch any streaming video or match cheesy

My thoughts is that ..not everyone is comfortable on a care job for that lenght of time. He might be thinking, why not take up something else to allow the wife rest a little.

You might be better off in Salford if the course is your dream. Salford is closer to Manchester and depending on your future plans, you might end up working for a good firm out there. I don't know much about Northhampton

I am in the same position as you my brother. I need my passport asap to apply for an EU visa. Do you have any plans yet? By the way what do you think about us storming the high commission?

Please does anyone have any experience doing this? If we go there , would they let us in ? Do we have any chance of laying hands on our passport?

There is a date your passport would be delivered to you, its on that slip they asked you to take a picture of before you left the HC. its usually around 1-2 months after your biometrics. You should get your passport around that date. No harm trying to see if you can get it earlier though.

Elders, People of GOD

Can a dependant apply for Global Talent Visa? 😌

PS: The dependent is a Software Engineer and already have a Job with sufficient salary. 🇬🇧

Yes dependant can apply for global talent visa, although the endorsing body Tech Nation is windingup operations at the end of this month. Pretty sure a new body would be announced soon.

@Santa2, thank you for this post. Just want to clarify something please.

My own collection date on the slip is the first week of May and I am in the process of traveling in the last week of April,

1. Please is it exactly the date on the slip that one will receive it on the post or one can receive it before then
2. Like you have said can I go there if is nearing my travel date to go and check if I can receive the passport
3. If I want to go what are the things I need to take along with me and how will I be able to get inside of the embassy from the man that is always outside and what can I tell him to let me in.

Please your help will really be appreciated. I am in a dilemma and I urgently need your assistance.

Thank you.

ooh ok. But still, 1GB speed is an over kill. I used 61Mbps back then and I didn't feel any stress working or streaming online. But thanks for sharing your perspective on this kiss
