1) Yes Halifax is part of the switching scheme
2) Yes you just have to mail the HR with the new account details to be updated.
GodMercy2015:
Thank you for this explanation, I am currently using Halifax and would like to switch to NatWest.
1. Does Halifax bank qualifies to switch?
2. I use the the bank for my salary, will I have to communicate my employer of the new account with NatWest?
Thank you.

You don't have to. Salary and other regular inflow will automatically be redirected to the new account.

Very easy, type switch to Natwest on Google, you will be directed to their website to open an account which before you finish with documentation, you will be ask to put in the bank you are switching from, sort code and some details. So you will need to transfer 1,250£ into the account and open the bank App “, Full switch takes about 10 working days but before then you can use the account. They will move every info to your Natwest from you previous account on or before the 10th day. Within five days after that, you get your 200£ gidigba 😁

I followed this and the 200. I think bank switch is one easy side hustle money to make in here .

I would say NO..... Because SiA licence, deals with the security agency.......

And the restriction on your visa, stipulates within the industry ......

Good day my correct people, I just got a notice of intended prosecution for exceeding speed limit (drove 35mph in a 30mph zone). Abeg how do i go about it and what are the consequences. Thanks all
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by AgentXxx(m): 8:35am On Apr 03, 2023
Flowing of money isn’t the reason for the notification but notifying the HR so they can also notify the Finance in order to update the database accordingly. It’s a normal company policy .

NB: even the flowing using the previous account will stop after 3months because the New account would send a notification to the payer that a new account have been created but you still need to formally inform the Finance via the HR to do such update

Yes bro, my expenses for my first one month in the UK was funded by Revolut referral bonus and crypto introduction bonus. After then I have been enjoying the switching bonus with my wife 😂

One advise is to learn to perfect your switch. Make sure you have a main account that you don’t switch while have about two to three accounts that you can switch. Ire oo 😊

You might be requested to attend a driver awareness class.......

If not, your licence would be submitted for point endorsement + court fine ..........

I thought there's a 5 miles allowance for which speed limit can be exceeded.

Should be. That should end at 34mph. The next is 35mph!
PS: that's my personal view

That's not on any bank page or even the current account switch service page - https://www.currentaccountswitch.co.uk/media/h1rpe0ky/currentaccountswitchguarantee.pdf

And from personal experience, I've switched a long time ago and didn't notify anyone. Salary still day enter, last I checked lol.

Yes, they notify your organisation, but most directly update the records and only ask you if they have any questions. No organisation will not pay your salary into an account sent to them by the switching service because you have not told them separately.

Anyway, I'm happy to be corrected - do you have a source?

You definitely need to fill in the details as required whether you are the one driving or not.

You should have National Speed Awareness course as an alternative to prosecution. If you do, I will advise you go for this otherwise your car insurance go jump if given points.

The incentive is paid per customer, not per account. You can only get the promo for switching one account, and then there's a wait period (typically circa 3 years) before you can get a promo from the same bank or its affiliates - in Natwest's case, RBS.

According to Lloyds and Natwest switching policy which I went through weeks ago, if you are determined to find the truth you can go through their website and see their policy as regard switching. And it’s mandatory to notify my company on situation of account details change. Maybe company differs .

First of all, Revolut isn’t part of the switching scheme. On switching three different account of yours to one account (Natwest), that isn’t possible but you can switch two or three accounts to different banks. Also you can do the switching for your wife too.

As of now, FirstDirect (175£) and Natwest (200£) are still switching.

Maim street banks allows creating a second Current account. It would be smart to use that for switch instead of using main current account.

Yes they would give a new bank account number reserved for you. Make sure you click you”re switching.

They would request for your old bank details( sort code / Account number ) . If you have any Main Street bank, most allow current more current accounts, Create a new one and request for card . I use Halifax and just switched my second account to NatWest .

There is RBC too , They all belong to the same group but they pay anyways.

You're on the wrong page. You've selected that you have an existing NatWest account.

You need to select that you want to open a new account and switch in from another bank. On the first or second page.
