I'm normally not a meatball person [this was my third-ish time eating meatballs ever in my life]. I tried to buy them at Walmart but they didn't have what I was looking for, so I made these from scratch using lean ground beef and Italian sausage, whole wheat bread crumbs, grated Romano cheese, rosemary, onion powder, and other seasonings. I made the sauce using crushed tomatoes, tomato purée and red wine. Tastewise, red wine is crucial for Italian sauces. Overall, delizioso.
