Haba! This is too much. A needle got lost, god of thunder is called upon. They should face whatever punishment meted to them by the police & the school authority.

When a country allows illegalities to thrive for long, people begin to see such as normal and legal thereby making it difficult to stop such illegalities.

That is why those students saw exam malpractices as their rights and resorted to beating up their teacher for daring to stop them.

That is also why Nmesoma was bold enough to come to the public with a forged JAMB result claiming she should be recognized as the top candidate for this year's UTME.

That is also why illegal open drug market traders would be bold enough to approach the courts in a bid to sabotage government's efforts in trying to sanitize the system. That is because some unscrupulous and unthinking individuals have been collecting money from them for long thereby giving them the audacity to think that they're above the law.

So, if we really want to get Nigeria working like a normal country, we must ensure to change our attitudes by obeying rule of laws and shun all illegal acts. Otherwise, Nigeria will continue to rot and be ridiculed by the rest of the world.

This is not new thing to me, Because back then in secondary school especially those of us who attended public school, will used to fight teachers i remembered the day me and my friends beat one student teacher, 🤣🤣🤣 so beating teacher is not a new thing to me..

Story of my life.
Back when I went for service in 2006/2007 in New Bussa, Niger State, I supervised JSS3 students exam, during which I caught a group of boys. I still let them write their exams though, but only allowed them to sit in front with their tables and seats facing the class.
After the exams, they mobilized other JSS3 students to come to my hostel with various form of weapons; my saving grace was a back door that lead to the corn farm at the other side of the hostel, which allowed me escape to the SS3 hostel. By now, dem for don dey talk about me as per once upon a time.

Some of us are just blaming the students, what of parents that are paying some of these teacher to engage in malpractices during external exam or register their children at the so called miracle centres. If we want to eliminate the menace, all hand must be on deck, from the students, parents, teachers and government. Blaming the student alone cannot solve the problem.

Blame parents for such incidents.
Parents should always be included in receiving punishment with their untrained teenagers who they often back against discipline from teachers.
Their parents shld equally be made to serve jail term for they signed undertaking on their behalf.
If they won trophies, the parents will be there to receive the glory, so shld they receive punishment now they have showcased acts of poor parenting.

I went to that state for a function some couple years ago and I saw teenagers throwing gang signs everywhere I go.

You can't grow up in that state without being wayward.

You should have mentioned your own state for the discerning ones to at least compare and contrast and if need be, givee kudos where it is due. Except you are not from Nigeria.
