Oh well, so you think referring people to where they will do illegal stuff is any different from the person telling them how to do illegal stuff? And in your mind you are the saint and IbeOkehie is the bad guy?

Anyways, I can't stop you but I can tell you that it is wrong and you should stop it.

wrong. I didn't say anyone was a good or bad guy. I did say I was connecting someone that needed some assistance with someone who has been going about with a gong as to how that particular assistance is possible, and a very very good bet.

I also did say I have been around long enough to not take 'holier than thou' posts seriously, cos 9.9 times out of 10 if you focus in and beam a searchlight on people, you would typically be shell-shocked at the hypocrisy you would find 99.99% of the time.

Thanks for your advice though. Cheers

Ps: You haven't modified the 'crime-ridden' post you quoted. A VO on the prowl might see it, no?

no lele. Make she just link up with IbeOkehie. He is one Nairalander who is very very vocal about how even illegals can make a great life in the USA. He has toed this path successfully and can show her the ropes so she doesn't see any shege...maybe he'll be gracious enough to offer free accommodation till she gets her footing. A little help can go a long way, and I KNOW he CAN help. So Olurotimi do well to act on this and ASK him (DM or mention his monicker), you never know oo.

Don’t mention the Ibeokehie here pls. The guy is delusional about this America of a thing. Always peddling false narrative about how you can be successful in America with Just $2 in ur hand and an illegal entry. He knows thousand of people tbsg have succeeded this way

The amount of money you have is of minimal importance as it relates to you getting into the USA. What is your plan and what sort of Visa would you be seeking?

I don't have any plans. Like I said, am a novice. I don't know much about traveling. The money can grow

Nice tread.. I just spent a month in the US on an immigrant visa...Looking for a job, has not been easy man...I decided to apply for Amazon delivery driver jobs, but my international driving license was rejected... Still working on getting my certificate and transcript over here for evaluation...

google temp agencies and type in your zip code they would be able to find you something or go to unemployment/works office or walk into any Walmart ask to see the manager and let them know you are willing to work any job available and that you are legally authorized to work by government

You can earn up to $2000 per week working as a registry CNA in California. You'll need to undergo training though.

Currently living in the UK working in an IT role, and wouldn't mind immigrating to the US. Any guide would be appreciated.

Pick Virginia. You can come to Richmond VA. I've been here for just seven years and it has been PEACEFUL!

Look, most highbrow parts of the US are safe, its not about the State.

That same Richmond you stated when compared to other cities like Roanoke & Portsmouth in Virginia happens to be the more dangerous city.

I consider the poverty index of the city to determine the crime rate- in this case I wiĺ use crime rate as the measure of safety, the higher the poverty index the higher the crime rate.

So if you want lower crime rate, go to the highbrow parts of every state.

This theory does not generally apply in New York City, due to population density per square area.

first of, dial it down. If we check well, many people you know personally have probably done same or worse. I have come to not take 'holier than thou' posts seriously.

Secondly, I sought to connect that person with someone who has been so loud on Nairaland for months now, about how even illegals can make a living even better than Nigerian CEOs. Check his post history and see for yourself.. and even aside him there are way more indicting posts on Nairaland, so that ship has
looong sailed! You/people didn't have a problem with IbeOkehie saying this, but you have something to say about connecting someone who needs that particular help with HIM who has been screaming at the top of his lungs that what this person is seeking is very doable and even encourages everyone in Naija to do same. I was simply connecting someone with a problem to a person with a solution and has even toed same path (it now remains to see if talk will be cheap in this instance as usual or not).

And yes, I'll repeat, the person I mentioned has been advocating for people to commit this so called 'crime' if that is what it takes to enter USA, but no furore from you, other members, the mods or anyone else....but when people act on 'by hook or crook japa oo' you still kick..

Shey day just break ni??

Lol .

Moral of the lesson, Olurotimi modify your post by removing the preconceived decision to overstay. We all know that just about anyone who gets a visit visa to the US isn't planning on coming back, so it goes without saying...lol

Now will the judges (including you) be kind enough to un-quote or modify his 'crime-ridden' quoted post ? Let's see.

Please i want to ask, if you come with visiting visa to USA, will allow you to leave and work there, i need kindly suggestion

Please I need clarification about this Ethiopian airline free luggage rule.
Can't I use a duffel bag to carry my things? Must it be a box?
The duffel bag is lighter and contains more things and on their website I'm seeing that luggages must be a box 55x23x44 or else it won't be checked in or loaded in the aircraft or something.
Not sure this matters just make sure it does not exceed the measurements.

It's still human beings that load luggage so bulk items are a health risk to staff

How's job hunt going?
You can check Franknetters thread. He left on immigrant visa and at one point worked with Amazon and as a CNA
You might find helpful tips there ..just take time to read through and find what's useful to you.
