LegallyBlunt: They aren't doing any significantly right! They are just benefitting from the proximity to Lagos state where the population that will consume thier goods are. Afterall, land for industries will be significantly cheaper in Ogun state than in Lagos state 2 Likes |
Re: Japan Pharma Company “Otsuka” Establish $50m Factory In Shagamu by SoNature(m): 7:00am On Dec 07, 2023 |
LegallyBlunt: Ogun State is attracting a lot of big companies because of its close proximity to Lagos State. Those big companies in Ogun are built in areas closer to Lagos than the state capital. Lagos is a big market. 2 Likes |

Tjra: Ogun and Lagos states complement each other so well. Companies build their factories in Ogun and their administrative headquarters in Lagos. If we start having administrative headquarters here, otilor. I see that happening to Ijebu Ode and Sagamu side because of the Lekki-Epe airport and other developments 1 Like 1 Share |

LegallyBlunt: Simple. Ogun is close to Lagos and has more undeveloped land area than Lagos. So its easy to site a factory there. Lagos boast of most if not all the foreign embassies in Nigeria. Lagos Ports are the most active. So it's easier for them to receive the '20%' raw material that will be sourced abroad. 2 Likes |
