*I can't disclose company.

Seeing ppls Salary up there sent shivers down my spine.

As at 2014 I didn't have any job. I picked up software development downloaded several video tutorials online and I started working. I dedicated more than 11 hours daily to this.
I would wake up 6 a.m. as if I was going to the office. Gradually improved and started building apps.
Then in 2016 January I got my first job in Lagos as a junior Dev. My salary was 120k. I learnt very fast on the job and improved my skills.

Within a year, I got inside also that paid me 250k alongside my current job. I also got promoted on my current job so my salary became around 180 k.

Then in 2018 I got another job with another company that was paying me over 500k. I kept improving and I was receiving promotion till my salary hit what it currently is well I kept my side job.

But even with my current job plus side also I still believe in entrepreneurship, so I started up my own company but I'm still funding it to make it profitable.
pls I have do have a friend who is into tech he designs website thou he's a biochemistry graduate, but he learned tech skill, he needs job recommendations

Can you please recommend any relevant international certification(s) for me as a Data Analyst?

I learnt Excel, SQL and Power Bi last year.

I am currently learning Python

Excel, SQL, Power BI and Python are enough to make you a complete data analyst. The question you should ask is: what field can I deploy my skills to? I know an individual who consults for oil and gas companies as a Business Intelligence Specialist. Your skills are the same skills he has.

You can have all the skills and certifications in the world. Put them to use working for foreign companies as a consultant or a remote worker. Not for Nigerian companies who do not have the capacity to pay you what you should be earning.

All I see here is people bragging about the thousands and millions they earn monthly.

God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.

You see all these money and material things human beings keep acquiring, they don't mean anything in the sight of God and will all end on earth.

At the end of the day, all is VANITY.

nice thread
millionaires, abeg make una help push us the strugglers here. we arent lazy.
in my own case, i have never worked for salary after my youth service and npower, reason is this meagre payment without skills, so i decided to invested my resources in digital skills over the years, which are ui/ux design, graphic design, data analysis, video editing and illustration. i have missed series of role because i dont have laptop again for i was robbed. now am still struggling to get the tool (laptop). if God touch u to help in anyways, i will be very happy even if u have system that u are not using again or needs to be worked on.
Am also open for business partnership because i have business idea to raise capital for my system but still no money.
i also have the following courses for sale on udemy;

video editing
ui/ux design
html, css and javascript
beginer to advanced ms excel
product management
forex and crypto
etc
i bought them when i was serving because i believed in tech.
my contact is 0812033845three.
all these is to raise money for my tools and be back fully to my chosen career path.
thanks

*Harsh reality* Once people see big money and tech they would assume that it is that easy and rush into it only to be stuck in ordinary data structure and algorithms. Tech is not the only way to make money. Do what works for you and stop looking and copying what someone else did
