Good day Nlanders and IT Gurus.

I really want your opinion on something crucial as I'm currently considering a career change.

Quick Background History
I'm an Engineer working at an international organization but on contract. The pay isn't really bad(200K+) but the work culture isn't really comfortable as we work from 7am-6pm(Mon - Sat). I'm currently considering settling down with my GF and I know this job nature won't give me the needed time for family thingy(looking after your kids and the other responsibilities).

I'm a lover of remote work as well hacking and defense and currently considering a career change into cybersecurity.

MY PLEE
The IT Gurus in the house, please your insight is highly needed. Thank you in anticipation

I am a certified IT person on CEH and cybersecurity, I work remotely and travel abroad yearly. so yes, It is very good and has many international opportunities ONLY if you are very skilled in it.

F.Y.I Hope you know that 200k under goodluck jonathan is the current 70k under tinubu..... SO DON'T CALL YOUR 200K+ a good salary o. It is TERRIBLE

To survive as a single guy in this economy, 1M monthly is fair and manageable.... BUT AS A MARRIED MAN, 2.5M monthly and above IS THE NEW AVERAGE INCOME

GET INTO TECH BY GOING TO A PROPER SCHOOL THAT WILL GIVE YOU LIVE SCENERIOS AND APPLY FOR REMOTE JOBS

Also, even if you are earning as little as 2.5m in a remote job..... consider this, a regular TRUCK DRIVER IN THE UK OR CANADA earns 9,000USD monthly on shift basis

so IT IS NOT ABOUT TECH, it is about LOCATION.

stay strong my brother.

The truth must be told, all IT skills offer dame level of reward, it all depends on the need of the company that hire you.

Don't think of Remote Jobs when going into Tech, because if you're not valued for onsite jobs, you won't be needed for remote jobs.

I offer hands-on practical classes on Networking and Cybersecurity (diff. Domains). Different courses are available from the top vendors in the industry.

Demo Classes are available everyday both day and night via Zoom app.
Check my signature for details, a trial will convince you.

graphics is good but it is fast becoming obsolete with A.I

So if you would learn graphics, kindly learn A.I too so you will be in demand even when A.I takes away the jobs of people
