They were told in 2023, as they were told in 2015: the political alliance by Tinubu is not good for 20th century Nigeria.

An alliance between a man, Tinubu, who had for more than 15 years hussled for political restructuring of Nigeria, and another man, Buhari, who comes from the group that resists political restructuring of Nigeria.
That's a dubious political alliance.

CONGRATULATIONS TO IVORY COAST.

HOME SUPPORT AND DODGY OFFICIATING GAVE THEM A BIG ADVANTAGE.

PESEIRO WAS A BIT TOO DEFENSIVE IN HIS TACTICS.

WELL DONE TO OUR MIGHTY SUPER EAGLES.

YOU MADE US PROUD AT THE AFCON, WITH MEMORABLE VICTORIES OVER SOUTH AFRICA, IVORY COAST, AND CAMEROON.

WELL DONE BOYS, AND BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

Yeah, they played well, but individualism can never suffice when the chips are down.

Ivory Coast played as an unbeatable unit... They played with pure synergy and passion.
well as for me I think the problem was not the players but the coach's tactics. He couldn't find an antidote for adingra in the entire match. He caused both goals against nigeria

The problem is the coach defensive style. Over defensive in all the games. In this game Nigeria sat back right from the first half absorbing pressure the midfield Iwobi doesn't pressure and press, it is only Oyeanka that does the pressing yet he left him for a very long time before replacing.
If he continues with this defensive play in the world cup qualifiers am afraid Nigeria might not qualify.

Is the coach African or European? Sorry I ve been out of soccer for a while.

And yes I agree with ur analysis.

I'm so happy Nigeria lost because we are easily carried away. Main reason politicians takes us for granted..

Now, back to reality from 2morrow;

No fuel. Rice 74k. Cement bag 7k. Gas 1300 per Kg.

Peseiro don finally see wetin he dey find for Iwobi body. grin

Bench the useless player he refused, I have been saying it since the competition started that Iwobi has nothing to offer but some people who know nothing about football were saying opposite......He was just running aimlessly on the pitch like a lost puppy leaving all the work for Onyeka to do.

I will be very surprised if Osimhen gets a top club after his performance in this tournament. Nobody is talking about his work rate. We know he works hard for the team. But at the end of the day, a striker’s job is to score goals. Look at Haller. Give him half a chance, he scores. That’s a striker.
How many balls did Osimehn get as a striker?

How many chance were created by Nigerian midfield for Osimehn to score?

I know Peserio made some mistakes in selection today but let's not forget how he was able to take us to a undeserved finals with an unorthodox tactics!
Atleast he did his best!
Our polithiefians esp this administration put pressure as usual on our players with an unnecessary emilokan slogan🙄🙄
If Nigeria had won,the incompetent administration would have credited the victory to their renewed hope agenda!

Instead of picking players to blame, we should blame the coach. We played too deep right from the start of the match. At the beginning of the second half, we should have come out to play for the first 20 minutes before playing deep since we were leading. It was inevitable that they would score looking at the pressure and home support. Overall, the boys tried their best. All of them. We should appreciate their effort.

Super Eagles are just sloppy!!!! Them nor dey mark.
I swear. If Nigeria hold ball, the ivorian players go just rush us collect the ball. But if the ivorian players hold ball. Nigeria players go just relax. Them no go follow them with hard marking. Right from 1st half those guys they pressure us. Na there I know say Nigeria no go win this match.

To think that Ivory Coast did this with no superstar. Using washed up players like Max Gradel, Aurier and Kessier. No. Not acceptable for the Nigerian team with the so called best African player jare.
