No Economics/Finance/Accounting background? I pray God will help her.

Sir, paper experience is different from practical experience.

For the board to vote her as replacement, they know her competence and what she has to offer.

I prefer on hand experience to academic accumulation of degrees.

Most banks were becoming holdings just to expand their scope.
Gtb bank did too before Access bank.

Guaranty Trust Holding Company PLC also known as GTCO PLC is a multinational financial services group, that offers retail and investment banking, pension management, asset management and payments services, headquartered in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. GTCO Plc was created in July 2021 following the corporate reorganization of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC (or GTBank) into a Holding Company.

Yeah, GTCO was the first to initiate this move.

Nobody is qualified in your region.

Roosevelt Ogbonna was holding a higher position than this woman;

Roosevelt Ogbonna has more qualification, more experienced and have been in Access Bank before this woman!

Roosevelt Ogbonna is the one to succeed Wigwe, if Wigwe was to retire alive, but he has been rigged out!

This woman has used politics and her HIDEOUS relationship with the Chairman of the bank to grab a position she is not qualified to handle!

I only pity Access Bank future!!

Mumu when it comes to industrialization, Just rest. The igbo's have orange drugs. That man has been in business for over 45 years, his industry orange drugs is about 37 years.
Igbos are mainly petty, petty traders. They don't have capabilities for real businesses.
Ezenna owns Orange drugs and it is only 32 years grin.
I pray it continues to grow if una no destroy am with nzogbu.
Igbos always use laziness and bad business nzogbu nzogbu behaviour destroy most of their businesses and most don't last unlike the business savvy Yorubas who are astute business people.
Iroyin Yoruba Is almost 200 years.
Alabukun is more than 108 years and still growing.
Wema Bank was started in 1945.

Igbo newspaper,the Champion is dead,
Authority dead and so on.
Odua investments still exist while Igbos have lazily destroyed it's equivalent.

In business, real industry,Igbos are greatly under the Yorubas.
In Nollywood,highest grossing,...Yoruba.

Yoruba make noise?
It has been proven time and time again that Yorubas are the best administrators and economic gurus there can ever be.

Ok,let me ask you.
Name only one, just one business or endeavour owned by any SE individual or even the combined efforts of SE states, that has existed for 35 years and still existing.
Name one Igbo company that is over 35 years and still kicking.
None, they have been crumbled by laziness, bad managing and nzogbu nzogbu traits.

Only Yorubas have businesses existing more than 100,90,80 years and still growing.

Or better still, name one, only one business owned abroad by a SE person even worth as less as 500 cents.
Yes,known company.

None,it is only Yorubas that have more than 3,4,5,6 etc businesses abroad worth billions of dollars for years and still kicking.
Where there is a level playing ground, the SE will always play catch up with the SWesterners.
That is the fact,the reality.

Don't mind them bro. All those panti/idọti and jangba-jantis fairly used this and that trading they are doing has actually entered into their heads, believing that they're the only ones doing business.

This is awesome! Those women (who really merit the positions) are taking over the corporate leadership of banks and other institutions. They are dusting the men. cheesy Tony Elumelu has majorly women handling the different divisions of Heirs Holdings as well.

Kudos to Ms. Bolaji Agbede as she moves into the Acting-CEO position. Keep Herbert's memory flying.

Elephant cement (wapco) established by Oodua group before Nigeria independence is still flourishing till today, but nkalagu cement of SE established very much later died long-time ago and no one amongst them is capable of reviving it like calcemco of Calabar was revived and doing well today as Lafarge under Elephant (wapco) cement.

Women are gradually taking pole positions in the banking sector of the country.

Coincidentally, she is also single. Is there something synonymous with career women and being single?

She's married with two kids.

Yeah, GTCO was the first to initiate this move.
While some weak minded Igbos argue with their Yoruba brothers, some of their wise leaders always tap from the ingenuity of the Yorubas.
Ojukwu trusted Banjo and Prof Aluko to help him than depending on his brothers.
It was when he killed Banjo that Biafra came to a halt at Ore.
Herbert Wigwe sensibly surrounded himself with his Yoruba brethren because he knew how astute they are in building and sustaining businesses.
He has to follow what his GTbank partner did because it is the way to go.
Elumelu and Otedola are not friends for nothing.I will always want to learn from the Tested,Trusted and Guaranteed grin
Only the Omniscient is Guaranteed.

Career grew fast after 32 years in the industry. 🤔

Don't mind the poster

Both Roosevelt and Bolaji are foundational staff of Access Bank(A Regional Bank, back then). I think they came from GTB along with Aig and Herbert. Bolaji was heading HR as far back as 2003 @ Oyinjolayemi. Both Roosevelt and Bolaji have paid their dues. But I think Roosevelt had cut his teeth well in Finance..... Oil and Gas.

Succinctly put.

Tbh, there's loads of trolls and half-educated posters here on NL these days stemming from the "unmonitored initial NL registration" process that enables dishonest trolls to quickly register many fake NL accounts with free throwaway emails... But then my joy is also reflected in the fact that NL has a lot of brilliant folks that I've interacted with over the years who have the ability to discern facts from fiction and/or half-truths.

Access Holdings Plc on Monday announced the appointment of Ms. Bolaji Agbede as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer.
NOTE: In standard English, Ms. can be used for a married woman as a title especially if you don't know whether she is married or NOT.

Ms. is also used for an older adult woman of late 20s, 30s and above who is unmarried (NOT the use of Miss).

Second, Miss is used for ONLY a young, unmarried woman in her teenage years right to the early 20s.

Last but not least, folks should each invest in getting copies of the "Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary" to get a rapid hang of the usage of gender titles, salutations, phonetic pronunciations, and more.

Yoruba men, who grew up in Nigeria. 85% of them are lazy. I will keep saying this. And what shocks me the most is how tribalism, was used to cage your senses to reason like a human. undecided.

I'm not surprised. To you dingbat from that side, every other tribe is lazy, poor hungry, cowards etc. You're the only hardworking group around. We can all see the results of your "hardwork" all over the world, tarnishing the image of Nigeria.

I think it's the height of irresponsibility for a woman like this that is not married to head Access bank, this is my opinion and the way I feel about it, the society where we all come from especially this country regards marriage as an art of responsibility you know why if you can manage a family well you can manage anything, like I said earlier I feel it's wrong for a single unmarried person to head Access bank simple
