Mr Yok, thanks for sharing your screen.
From your portfolio, it seems you are more of a day trader to a long term trader.
I will keep following your thread and probably subscribe later.
What is your cost of subscription? And are your members in a Whatsapp group or what?

Thanks. I am basically a swing trader. The problem is nowadays, due to the easy accessibility of computers to nearly everybody, the market is more volatile and so buying and holding all stocks for long terms will means one will need big stops and capacity to endure big retracents. For long term traders loss of around 25% per trade looks normal (Buffet, Hackman etc).

If you see the likes of EPD, DK etc, theses are not stocks you can day trade, they are a little bit on the defensive/dividend paying stocks. But as I said somewhere in my post, we cannot be like Warren Buffet who may be able to absorb drawdowns of 25% or more on a position and not feel anything due to the huge size of his portfolio. Hackman, was said to have bought FCX at $15, at a time, the stock fell to $10, he bought more, stock fell again to about $5 he still bought more, but at the end of the day he made over 50% profit on the stock (but today FCX is around $35 to $40.

So for investing in our own time, it will be difficult to hold a stock and not sell when you have made a big loss. This is the reason why those buying penny/biotech stocks and thinking of holding them for the long term will be washed away from the market (main reason this forum will never attract the crowd that is in NSEMPA, because you are playing with the sharks here and probability of getting washout is high, especially if you have half knowledge and you believe you have known it all) , here you continue learning and researching, on my head I must have see and study over 300 indicators and I am still continue to studt again to see how we can improve)

Not in Lucid. But as someone has said, EVs are a long thing right now. I haven't seen any of them that has recorded meaningful profit in any quarter since founded. It is even more difficult for Lucid to penetrate the market by sales volume because they make luxury cars only (unless some economy class models have been introduced lately). One might see 3 Chevy corvettes before seeing one Lucid on the road.

You might be seeing a green light that has nothing to do with the company, but just its stock though.

If you know how long ive watched this.......Still bullish on LCID for temporarily gains can't see how it will not make 5.4 short term. I do realize that the EV market is kind of slow now but what this all means is it's a great time to shop for EVs before the market normalizes and prices head back up and i actually think LCID has bottomed from the 1week chart below - there's no other way. Even if it has not bottomed, technically speaking, it will still test 5.6 region before it heads down again.
in the same vien, i am also waiting for #RIVN to bottom within this week or the next

FOR TECH STOCKS (TIME TO TAKE PROFIT) AND BITCOIN STOCKS MAY HOLD THEIR GROUND

We may take some profits off the table in some of our tech stocks, energy/transport sectors are breaking out, somehow Biotechs are coming up (I hope a Covid may not show up soon), communication stocks are retracing).

Today with a VIX close to 16.00 don't expect the bull to show up. Especially when Fed minute and NVIDIA result is tommorrow. Let us relax, watch our portfolio, take some profits on stocks that are becoming weaker and if energy/ transport stocks are stable (we take more position).

Now, we need to guide our base currency for this forum (we know what it is), it is very valuable so we make our stops tight today and we may be on the sideline today. No sin in holding cash, if we can withstand the temptation to always want to buy something. I will buy if I see strong support, espe ially in energy/transport sectors.

Thank you for sharing the predictions from your analysis. I mentioned that you might be seeing some green light about LUCID stock to infer that the stock and the company are two seperate entities. I based my opinion on fundamentals and the reality of the company's performance in the auto market generally. I am a long term investor, and I visit charts after making a decision to take/increase my position in a stock.
I made close to 100% on Lucid, some gains on FuelCell, both in 2020, but that is the kind of market euphoria during which I trade such stocks.

WE NEED TO OBEY THE RULES FROM THE gODS 9F TRADING - I AM USING THE LANGUAGE OF BILL WILLIAMS

One of the cardinal rule is to avoid trading through earnings (except you have adnce assurance that the earnings will be good and it will move the market). Again, today affirm the rule, NVDA had good earnings (I told our cactus that probility was high for good earnings from NVDA, how I got to know is best known to me). But, the lesson here is that if I did not front run NVDA earnings, I will still catch the effect of the good earnings in other stocks.

Today NVDA has made the market to be alive again (has already gained 12% today pre market) , we are going to have a very bullish day (how can one stock carry the whole US market and others, size, highly capitalized stock, NVDA is like the new TSLA in the hay days of TSLA).

Let us have a very happy day. Today, I want to say let us buy some dividend paying stocks for our portfolio. Today for the people looking for big dividend yields: TRMD, is a good candidate (you can check the yield and tell us).

Another lesson is that we should keep our stops small. For the

I currently major on penny stocks and I have what I look for in a stock those 2 stocks does not fit in for me. I play most in the health sector but I want to also look for stocks in health sector that wants to adopt AI in their activities because AI seems to be the future.

Am currently in FOXO Technologies though seems RISKY but apart from revenue issues they are having other parameters fits in for me

Not an investment advice ooo do your DD.

Which stockbroker are you using? And how legit are they? Can someone register as a Nigerian from Nigeria without any issues?
Does buying stocks on these platforms makes someone a shareholder of this companies? Or we are just trading through 3rd party?

We have answered questions like this in the past. The shares are in your name. You will even receive reports from post office in your Nigeria address. But see some previous post in this link to shed more light : https://www.nairaland.com/search?q=Yok+chaka&search=Search

There is Bamboo, Chaka, Trove, Risevest etc. They are all legit. Do your research as to the cost implication of joining any of them.

I use Chaka as it seems most reasonable in terms of cost of dealing.

For a sizeable trading capital of let's say $5,000. Is Chaka good to use? Because have seen where Yok discussed about using Chaka for small capital while for investments above $500, other foreign apps are better

Yes. If you don't have access to foreign brokers. As that's the next best option.

MARKET NOT BAD TODAY - I AM HAPPY WITH MY PORTFOLIO

I am happy with my portfolio, as I can see a lot of green.

However, my greatest regret is not starting with a subscription/mentoring service, it would have cut my learning time substantially. Today the blockchain (let us call it this, to avoid exposing too much to casual visitors here) stocks are on fire. CIFR is fairly good.

Wishing all the best. Please let us remember the Pioneer member of the forum - OAKPEAL. We wish home well wherever he is. This forum will continue (e fokan bale, not the APC fokan bale ooo. Your money is safe, with a broker outside Nigeria, the worst that can happen if Nigeria Government misbehave (you can guess how they can misbehave, your money is technically outside Nigeria, the worst is that US to Naira may be expensive, but if your portfolio is profitable/paying dividends, you continue adding those dividends and your profit to your portfolio). Actually is has been long I added physical Cash to my portfolio, but dividends/moving my portfolio around make me to have a very active portfolio
