What happened to the governors before Uzodinma? They couldn't do the same ??
SoNature:
If Hope Uzodinma cannot manage Adapalm, he should lease or sell it to Presco. As Nigeria's largest palm plantation, Adapalm can generate Imo State over #120 billion per annum.

This is what you get when the Supreme Court decides who will be your governor. There's a lot of money in farm produce now.

Presco has been making profits consistently every year. One of my finest picks ever.

All those things can never work efficiently except if they're privately owned. Let's see if Otti can turn around Abia palm.

If the governor is not lazy & clueless waiting for FAAC allocation to feed his ppl. Imo state should be among top 10 economy in Africa. After all, Malaysia doesn't have up to Imo state gas & Palm oil reserve

And who would chop the money gotten from this sale to an outsider? Remember when it's sold to this outsider, it's gone forever together with the property it stands on.

You don't trust uzodimmas government with managing the asset, but you trust him with the money that will be gotten from the sale?

Better it stays poorly managed at state governments hand. And one day, a good government will come along. It's better than losing on both sides.

He's not going to be Governor forever, so it's not worth making permanent wrong decisions because of him. No be Buhari wey don become past tense so?

We don't like uzodimma that doesn't mean we shouldn't use our heads. Be careful what you wish for.

That company made a lot of people extremely wealthy. At some point in time and just few years ago, it's share price was barely up to N10, suddenly it picked and rose to over N200!
They are very profitable multibillion naira company today. The Belgians really tried too. They achieved their vision before divesting.

The founder of the new major shareholder who now owns the controlling shares in Presco is Rasheed Sarumi, a Nigerian who is phenomenally successful but is hardly in the media attention. The Sarumi family are from Epe, Lagos East Senatorial district. Congratulations to Nigeria.

Some Nigerians are doing great exploits while many others feast on negativity and still wonder why they keep losing out in the land. In life, if you focus on the positive, you attract it and if you focus on the negatives you will equally attract negative events with your negative mindset.

God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
Nice input… but I thought the Sarumi are from Ilesha, Osun State

See the humongous profit they declare year in year out yet the workers work like slaves in their plantation and production plants.

Obasanjo should be cursed everyday for instituting contract jobs in Nigeria.

This is what is killing the brains of young Nigerians everyday and also fueling brain drain. How can you be working like a slave in your own fatherland while the government is busy looting and padding budget?

America is a capitalist society and there are contract jobs in America. What is the minimum wage for contract workers in America compared to Nigeria?

Why are Americans not running away from their country to come do contract work in Nigeria since it's so appealing to you slowpoke?

The North star of businesses is productivity.
You only see the profit, not the capital investment.
If a company is really making humongous profit, they will double down on expansion and increase capacity. You don't need to tell them to increase staff salary as that will naturally happen so they can be competitive in the labor market.

It's socialists like you that got us into the trouble we are in as a nation. Thinking printing money or increasing wages leads to better lives. It only increases inflation. What everyone should be concerned about is productivity.

Stop lying with statistics.

Meanwhile, I read in history that Malaysia learned oil palm business from Nigeria and today they are world biggest palm oil sellers.
Nigeria always relenting on promoting her future!
My dear, you are right. In 1972, some malaysia investors came to benin city, edo state and they were taught on the rudiment of palm oil business and before they left, they bought oil seedly. Today, they are now the largest producers of palm oil in the world and nigeria is now the 4th or 5th in the world. No b juju b dat?
