Senegal is actually 30% Fulani

It shows that Fulanis are not the problem. The problem in Nigeria is the timidity of the other tribes, especially the Yorubas and the so called minorities who are collectively allowing the Fulanis to hijack Nigeria and treat it as their personal property. The other tribes, with the exception of the Igbos, encourage the Fulanis to feel like they own Nigeria.

Since Rwanda didn't make the list, then it is a sham! I don't believe this charade! It must have been cooked up in someone's living room cool

Rwanda is a dictatorship and can not meet some of the criteria: press freedom and political rights.

No Seychelles? Like really? or do they mean Sub-saharan Africa?

Gambia, Burkina Faso, and Ghana shouldn't be on that list. Instead, they should be replaced with Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco.

The list isn't correct,, it's more like adding Nigeria to the list ..

Imagine not adding your stated countries and Rwanda that the government is doing extremely well ..

I think those countries rankings were helped by the existence of press freedom and political rights and independent judiciary.

So press freedom or whatever is more important than true human and capital development?

I don't rate this ranking at all

The same Ghana whose president went on his knees to beg the IMF for small 3 billion dollars to bailout their economy and prevent it from collapse.

That is why I say these lists drawn up by some ASSHOLES in America sitting in their mum's basement need to be ignored as the TRASH they are.

You're not wrong at all

Some of these things are done to misrepresent Africa

Unlike the IPO.B dullards celebrating the garbage list because it supposedly discredits Nigeria.

Worthless lot.

They know EXACTLY what they are doing.

And get this...

No matter how ''well-governed'' Nigeria is, they will NEVER place her on their list.

They see Nigeria, the biggest black nation and economy on Earth, as a threat to their white supremacist agenda and economic dominance, and the last thing they want to do is give her favourable publicity.

Global rankings
On the global space, Denmark, Norway, Finland, New Zealand, and Sweden ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively. Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Canada, Germany, Iceland, Estonia, Australia, and the United Kingdom follow.

Ghana is 48th on the rankings as the West African nation edges out countries like Argentina, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brazil, Senegal, Malawi, Indonesia, India, Tunisia, Cote d’Ivoire, United Arab Emirates, Benin, Rwanda, Kenya, Morocco, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Turkey, Egypt, amongst other countries.

These are all small countries with similar cultures. Most of the countries listed are not up to Lagos population.

Adopt the Federal system or break up Nigeria and let everyone manage themselves.

We will continue going in circles if drastic changes are not made.

Nigeria is supposed to be divided into 4 countries in Africa.

I don't think we need to divide the country but to change our system of government revenue sharing.

Let every state or region generate their own money, then pay taxes to the federal.

Development always start from the grassroots, and it's easier to develop a small place than a big one.

As we talk, economy of Lagos only is bigger than alot of countries listed there, so imagine uses 95% of her IGR on herself for everything excluding only military and ambassadors. U will see a state with 247 power, trains, trams etc

We do not know the criteria used to measuregood governance.

But with my experience in some of those countries mentioned, i do not personally agreed with the ranking

Not because nigrtia is not on the list, justifiably understandable.

But even amongst these countries, the ranking is flawed.

You have to visit some of these countries to understand

There's a reason they're called leaders, if they're no different from the followers, then they've no business being leaders. When leaders are truly sensible & corruption-free, followers will toll the same line. Have any leader been corruption-free since 1960 You can't elect mediocre people based on ethnicity, religion & mental bias and expect reasonable change. Corruption will thrive in any country if the leaders don't enforce the constitutional laws to eradicate it or they themselves don't show example.

Its not as though you speak entirely wrong, you dont. Its just that you are missing some context. And some of that context is that there is an entire class of upright and visionary Nigerians that are entirely forever schemed out of government by a specific class of sharks.

That class will never allow a Pat Utomi into government for example. Just an example.
In one of the gubernatorial primaries he contested, he was so dribbled that he went to a wrong venue and did not participate because the real primaries were over by the time he understood the game.
let's stop acting like we've not seen alot of pat utomis, that got into power and also followed d corrupt part..... Is utomi not close friends with tinubu and d likes.... My point is d so called leaders are gotten from amongst us, they do not come out of nowhere

So in your opinion, just because those in leadership positions are from the country, everyone's now to blame? You're misusing words like "we" and "us" in these matters.

They didn't say most developed. They said governed and indicated their measurements which lies in free press, accountability, etc.
China can't be ranked there good but China is developed. Same as Russia.
Some undemocratic countries are developed. Democracy doesn't mean development.
Morocco is not democratic but way far more developed than other African countries. Same as Tunisia

The vices around and those profiting from the current Nigeria would make governing a hell for even someone like Mr Pat.

The thing is if he'll be bold enough to combat them.

Is Saudi Arabia more press free than all the countries on the list?
Is China more press free?
Iran?
UAE?
Singapore?

Indonesia?
Hungary?

Oman and a host of other developed countries out there?

Some of you just type without thinking things through.

Make sure you think with a brain if you intend replying me and not chunk out your typical zombie responses.

Since it's CNN/Western media that's telling you who has Press freedom or not.
