Marriage is not a priority for many people abroad including Nigerians because of the current oyinbo culture, unfavourable divorce laws, paper issues/ path to citizenship.

You better tell her to calm down because men can smell desperation from a mile away make she no fall for users.

To add, the majority of men there are married and have grown-up children. The single ones ARE majorly post-graduate student wey dey find their feet. The economy no too big sef and the so much climate change blah blah blah has affected its oil industry, unlike Norway (very hypocritical climate mumbo-jumbo country). Additionally, Scotland is an afterthought for Nigerians in the UK. England comes first and within England sef, many regions dey to opt for before people decide on Scotland.

Scotland doesn't have a thriving Nigerian population. Nigerians prefer clustering around England part of the UK. They don't like Scotland and Northern Island parts.


I will always advice any single Nigerian lady wishing to migrate abroad to make sure she has a reliable, dependable, cool headed brother in Nigeria hooked down, engaged or even married court wise before leaving because most Nigerian guys abroad don't have the intention of marrying a Nigerian lady they meet abroad unless the brother is struggling with his papers and looking to use the Nigerian babe to regularize his stay abroad.

On a normal, most Nigerian guys abroad with legal papers prefer to go back to Nigeria to marry their village Mgbeke or street girlfriend or matchmaked chick in Naija and bring abroad than marry Nigerian sisters they meet abroad. They see Nigerian sisters they meet abroad as only good for quenching conji and practicing newly learnt sex styles


So tell your sister to get hooked in Nigeria. There are a lot of struggling Nigerian guys in Nigeria who would be glad to wife her and still remain loyal and faithful to her. She should forget marrying a rich or comfortable Nigerian guy cos such guys no send woman money or status, they are mostly interested in a girl's hotness/beauty/youngness/feminity/family background than financial background.


Tell your sister to join Nairaland and just be observant, there are a lot of average and financially struggling guys here looking for a lady to start life honestly with and they are her best bet for now.


Advice her to join Nairaland and make friends here, this forum have a great potential that many underrate. It's a good place for people to find real partners if you are smart and real too.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble. Scotland isn't the place a young black single lady should be. Very depressing weather and very very few potentials in the date pool. Most young men there are still trying to find their feet or students.

Is like this UK situation is tough for babes. There is one babe i am currently chatting up. She is equally based in UK while I'm based and hussling in one African country. When im on the phone with her, her talks is always centered around marriage, relationship situation in UK, the loveliness in UK , She doesn't miss to tell me how men in UK are not ready to settle down, how the men are not ready to settle down with them babes...blablabla.
