jojcanada: Hi guys, I must say this thread has been pretty helpful. I plan to resume studies in Canada in January but yet to apply for student visa. My hubby has a trip end of Sept so the plan is to wait till he returns so we can apply together since we plan to move together. My hubby and I have schooled abroad a few times and all our documents are intact? I need to know when the latest time to apply for January start date is. Thanks

Not a good move . you should go first then he comes to meet you

The course is only for 8 months, If i go first and he starts to process his, i'll almost be done by the time he is ready to join me. What is the downside of applying together? To show I have ties in Nigeria and plan to return? or something else? #confused.com

Amefrica:

For Admission or TRV? If admission, right away and if TRV, apply latest 2-3 months before resumption.

Thanks. I have applied for admission but no response yet.

Hi everyone, I am new in this forum.

I have applied for studies in Canada but was denied early this year, reason was on finance.

Honestly I don't really understand why I was denied because of finance, the amount in the statement was sufficient enough for my studies.

My husband was the sponsor.

Although, I applied immediately I got married and did not put evidence of change of name.

the question is this...

I want to apply again but around November next year.

I am an expectant mother and by then by his grace I would have put to bed. I would love to go with my child during my studies perhaps enrol my child in day care during my studies.

how possible is it for them to grant me study visa with my child?

I would need urgent and genuine response. Thank you

Good morning and congrats on your pregnancy.
Please I will advice you to apply alone when you want to apply, when you get your visa and in canada, slowly apply for your baby and even your husband to come over with a visit visa, it's easier that way.
Thanks

sorry for the delay... for kelowna the cheapest i saw is 366 via Qatar Airways which is 29th of this august. however since you can manage vancouver i saw that for 185ngn same 28th via Qatar. but if you dont mind first of september its cheaper for vancouver. 168k. check there website for more info and book your flight.

Live with Chinese at your own risk. They are just like Indians. I had them as roommates while I was schooling in the UK for my MSc. If you live in school accommodation, you might be lucky if cleaners are provided by the management. Anything else, you are on your own.

Brandon is a village(that's what we jokingly call the city). My friend resides there. He and his madam visited me in calgary and never wanted to go back. The only reason he is still in Brandon is to help his brother with provincial PR.

Oga, do you study here in Calgary?
