no after you have paid your acceptance fee then the hostel postal will be opened were you will be advised to chose one. I think the best hostel won't be opened for freshers.

U can use ur phone to check ur clearance..The link is there, at the top of the webpage...I used my phone to check mine..

All you have to do I log in as a student,you login with your aau aplication number and password as ur password that all.
