I just got the sms for 18th. I do not have the online slip, any advise on what to do.

Same case with me don't have the online slip. Applied thru my phone. But the Boko boys they throw bombs anyhow I don't think I will go. Called three friends that also received the invitation but they insist they are not going.

On a more serious note, I dont think you will be adviced to go there considering the insecurity in the Young shall grow state.

For those dat dosn't hav d applicatn slip, visit d university website, click on Recruitmnt, click on applicatn portal and den log in wit ur applicatn details (email and passwrd). U see ur slip and print. Hope dis helps. Congratulations!

Well I don't know why people are so much scared of going. Federal University birnin kebbi just call their applicant and people from different part of the country were there. At least, it's still northern part of Nigeria

Are you comparing Birnin Kebbi with Gashua? Do you know BK is in Kebbi state north west while Gashua is in Yobe state north east? Bro I'm from Bauchi north east Nigeria but with all sincerity Gashua is no go area. One single fact that keep coming to my mind is, can I be able to work there even if I got the job? I don't think so

After the Portiskum incidence say two years back wia the largest catyle market was raided and about 300 people killed in portiskum Yobe state by Boko Haram, fear no even let me apply for the Federal Government Jack Shit Job

Bros am a muslim, that one would hardly work. Boko haram kills muslims that preaches against them, that is involve in boko (western education) and that works for government.
Me, i don‘t agree with them, i am involve in boko ( am a graduate and wants to be a lecturer) and i want to work for federal government. Worse of all I don‘t understand even a little hausa.

Hi guys. I received the sms ysterday and my aptitude test is on 17-11-14, but i dont have a copy of the online application. I logged in to the application portal using my email and password but i could only see my profile, not option to print.. Can some one help me on how to print out the online application? Tnx alots. got same too .mine is 17-11-14 am still in the dark weather to go or not. coupled with with my inability to get the online slip requested. in terms of boko activities I think for now yobe is cool.and hopefully by Gods grace the exercise will be smooth.

For me i believe the aptitude test will be professionally inclined...kind of based on your department/Course read/applied for. However, those that applied for graduate assistant position should study their GMAT incase o..

Pls someone should help us on how to print out the online application, because i logged in, i saw my profile and what i applied for but there is no option of print. Pls help, for i know i am nt the only one facing the this problem. Good mrng

any transportation arrangement to gashua? That's my only limitation o. About the slip, i think they know there is no option for printing any of the options.

No fewer than 48 students were killed and 79 others seriously injured when a bomb exploded at the Government Science School, Potiskum, Yobe State on Monday.
Our correspondents gathered that the explosion occurred at about 7.45am as the students were queuing up for the normal morning assembly.
Eyewitnesses said bodies of the victims were scattered around the assembly ground, while both staff and students ran helter-skelter to rush the wounded to the hospital.
Potiskum, the largest commercial town of the state, was thrown into pandemonium as many parents rushed to the school and other schools in the town to pick their children back home.
All the schools in the town were desolate as the pupils and teachers had fled.
Though no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, the blast is believed to be the handiwork of the Islamic fundamentalist group, Boko Haram, which has been carrying out a reign of terror in the North eastern part of the country.
A resident of the town, Ibrahim Ahmed, told newsmen on the telephone, “We heard a loud sound and since then, the area was condoned off but ambulances have been going into the school to pick corpses and take the injured to the hospital. Potiskum has been in pandemonium since 7.45am as a result of the attack on the school.
“I can tell you all schools in the town have been closed now as parents have gone to pick their children. There is wailing everywhere especially around the school where the incident happened.”
The Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Markus Danladi, who confirmed the incident, said he was on his way to the scene of the incident and promised to give details later.

well I'm not here to add to or reduce your fears about Gashau, Yobe state.

But for those that one to connect Gashua, from virtually any part of the country (aside Jigawa, Katsina or Bauchi), the safest route is for you to get to kano. from kano, board a bus to Nguru ( about 4 hours from kano) then from Nguru, board to Gashua (about 45mins from Nguru).
