Unveiling Dele Giwa’s first daughter, Funmilayo

Funmilayo is one of the 5 children of Dele Giwa, the founding editor –in –chief and chief executive Officer of Newswatch magazine who was killed through a parcel bomb in Lagos on 19th October 1986. In his life time, the late Dele Giwa had 5 children, three boys and two girls: Billy, Dele Jnr., Tunde, Funmi. Funmilayo Dele-Giwa, a trained lawyer, is dual qualified in England and Nigeria, with a First Class LL.M in International Corporate Governance & Financial Regulation. She specialises in Finance and Corporate/Commercial law and she has developed expertise in emerging market transactions. She has an eye for detail and assists banks with Trade Finance and due diligence, particularly in relation to the Nigerian market. She is an avid reader and enjoys travelling.
