JULES RIMET TROPHY

The 1st trophy, originally named Victory, but later renamed Jules Rimet, was made of gold plated sterling silver & depicted Nike, the Greek goddess of victory

Brazil won the trophy outright in 1970
&
It was put on display at the Football Confederation HQ in Rio de Janeiro in a cabinet with a front of bullet-proof glass( grin so that person no go thief am grin)

But on 20 Dec 1983, it was stolen
..never been recovered( sad embarassed)

COMMON MISCONCEPTION

Microwave ovens do not cook food from the inside out

Upon penetrating food, microwave radiation decays exponentially due to the skin effect and does not directly heat food significantly beyond the skin depth

As an example, lean meat has a skin depth of only about 1 centimeter (0.4 in) at microwave oven frequencies

italics part is the main reason why if your meat pie is microwaved it only get very hot outside while the carrot and the rest things are still cold inside, anything above 3 centimetres will hardly get hot in microwave

Blacks don suffer before o

Have you heard of "THE BROOMSTICK WEDDING "?

Clears my throats.

A wedding between two American slaves could not include the words,

“until death do us part”

..because plantation masters had the power to part husband and wives

And
Since slaves were not allowed to have a Christian ceremony, they invented their own ceremonies that often included the bride and groom jumping over a broom

..The broom being the symbol of home in certain parts of Africa

THE BRIDE VEIL'S

The bride’s veil traditionally symbolized her youth & virginity

Veils also hid the bride from jealous spirits or the Evil Eye

..In the past, veils could be red, blue or yellow (the color of Hymen, the Greek god of marriage)

The modern white veil became popular during the Victorian era as a symbol of purity and modesty

..A white veil also connoted that a bride was wealthy enough to wear white
