With the death of my last Chinese phone UMI C1, i have been on search for a new mobile; As a die-hard lover/ fan of china phones i have been scouting for good phones that will make a mark if not for the whole year 2015, least for the first half of the year.

We will agree that for the year 2014, some phones made remarkable mark -- One plus one, Xiaomi Mi4 etc. While some phones even with the much media hype and articles they are nothing to write home about -- IPhone 6, IPhone 6L, Samsung Galaxy S5, UMI Zero, Elephone P2000, Lumia 520 and Lumia series etc.

As we close in on the year 2014 and bask into the euphoria of a new year, i do like to give my predictions for top 3 Mobile Phone that will make a mark in first half of 2015.

1. JiaYu S3
2. Elephone P7000
3. Meizu m1 note.

These Phones are great if u are on a budget, but my problem with these cheap phones is that they barely get upgraded, and please dont tell me about custom roms, not everybody has the time and technical know how to do that.The day these phones get timely upgrades , that day wil see the end of Samsung in terms of market share..imagine Samsung galaxy note 2 is getting upgraded to android 5.0..now thats what am talking about..

The specs are great and the prices too. The Elephone slightly beats the other two. The most important thing is the durability and warranty.

Tho kids and girls that don't understand what specs mean will troop here to mock 'chinko' phones.

Bros relax with this your specs. My professor always told us to go for quality over quantity.
8mp iPhone is still far better than 50mp Elephone.
2gb ram S4 is still faster than 8gb ram Xiaomi.
Quad core Krait 400 in Sony Z3 is still faster and more robust that Mediatek Octacore in these Chinkos.
Go for quality if you can spend that extra cash.
