Is there any job that doesn't in any way relate to solving problems or offering solutions?

Teaching-illiteracy
Doctors-health challenges
Engineers-Fix roads, construct bridges...
Software Developers...develop apps to make things easier

I could go on and on...
Is there anything better than that?

I'd say criminal law or family law but then i don't think you'll have the composure to defend someone who defrauds a company so i'll go with family law.

Well...I cant exactly specialize for now so I am into general litigation.

But by next year I would have found my niche

That's cool, happy for you.

How did you get into the law profession?
What sparked your interest?

Do you really want to know?
hmmnmn!

In JSS2 I wanted to be a pilot..

then I had 07/70 in physics in Jss3, failed chemistry, passed biology

then failed mathematics too.

So I sort of knew my school will never let me go into the science class. I needed to pick an area of interest because my school had given us forms to submit and the deadline was near. I borrowed a JAMB brochure from my sister and checked alphabetically to see what courses I could study. Whenever I see Maths, Physics or Chemistry as a requirement I just skip grin

Then I got to L and saw Law. It was like I had discovered a goldmine so I decided...Law it is. Probably if M had come before L I would have taken Mass communication.

The requirements were quite easy....I was on top of my game in all the subjects it required...CRS, English, Literature and Government. That was how I started my journey with Law and 9 years down the line do I regret it?

I don't know. I always start what I finish so I cant say if its because of my passion for it or my never give up nature that has allowed me to stay this long.

I can say I am enjoying it though as I don't have to struggle to do most of the things it requires as my strengths are put to good use.

Yeah, you do all the sciences and the Arts so the school counselors can figure out your strong points and help you make a decision.

Yeah except for a meeting about my next task, a task in which the chances of me getting a query is like 90%

Can't the query be avoided? Didn't you complete the task? And why do you feel you will get a query?

The task is supposed to be completed in about 2 weeks time, but as at now, i have no idea of how to even go about the task. I won't get a query but my record might be "soiled".
Agreements were made from the top and passed down to me so i'm kind of trapped.
Hope you get my drift?
