I am an ibo man and I see all these misconceptions about the yorubas as fallacies. however the attribute of being dirty is typical of every Nigerian ethnic group and I see no reason while it should attributed to an ethnic group. if you asked me I did prefer Yorubas to any other tribe becos they are the most accommodating, honest, respectful and intelligent.

Indeed, Yorubas are quite intelligent and respectful I must say. They are appear very accommodating, entertaining and resourceful. However, on individual basis, some of them are not particularly hygienic. I have a few who enjoy farting indiscriminately in public. They see no fault in that. We are watching football matches they fart, chilling with some bottles they fart, arguing over an issue they fart. It just irritates me.

But they are such an interesting people.
