Arising from an emergency meeting of party stalwarts in the wee hours of today, the APC has denounced the postponement of the Feb 14 polls saying that ''the PDP and INEC were acting out a well-rehearsed script written in Aso Rock.'' According to the party, the rescheduled elections, if indeed it holds, will lack credibility and will only rubber stamp the continuity of Jonathan's government. The APC insists on February 14 as sacrosanct and will not be a party to any change that will set the nation ablaze.

The decision has therefore been taken to boycott the elections in its entirety and leave Jonathan and the PDP to perpetuate itself in power, bringing the nation to its knees. Although it is not clear yet, which of the elections it wants to boycott. The party has calls on other parties to boycott the rescheduled polls. Details are still sketchy, but there are strong indications that a parallel government is being considered.

Which way Nigeria?

Beautiful........ I hope this is true...... If all Nigerians can't speak against this illegality then this country should break up, we are not meant to be a country.

What's so special about Feb 14th. If you are so confident of victory, why not wait for 6 weeks after all the hand over date wasn't changed.
They know that buhari's image is like a swine, no matter how u try to make a swine clean, it would still go back to its dirty state. Six weeks is too much a time, buhari's image and popularity will fizzle out and many undecided voters would rather stick to the devil they know. I thought they said GEJ was clueless. We now know who the dumbos of politics are.

And pls help me ask them if this is the first time elections are being post phone in Nigeria. They can cry me a river if I even care.

GEJ will regret his actions

GEJ has nothing to regret. Besides, JEGA has no option than to postponed the election with all the reasons given even dough he is supporting GMB.
APC is complaining because their plans has been scattered and dey are running out of money.
Anyway, GEJ till 2019

I think APC is begining to have some strange feeling which I don't get. Is this the first time and election would be postponed?
As a matter of fact, I don't know why everyone is complaining about the postponement of the polls. Walahi, if dem like, make dem postpone the election till the day Nigeria wins the world cup, I don't bloody care.
I thought APC are on top of the situation, I thought their support base is increasing by the day. The postponement gives them more time to garner more supporters because, right now, it seems GEJ has lost it.
If APC is giving us the excuse of rigging, they had better STFU. If God want APC to present the next Nigeria's president, make Tinubu defect to PDP, make Buhari defect to PDP, make APC field one local government chairman as its flag bearer, believe me, they'll win. Let PDP rig and win, the Osun 2007-2010 scenario comes to mind.
If God hadn't wanted ACN/APC to rule Osun state, Aregbesola wouldn't have won the tribunal. PDP rigged and they won the election(human factor) but three years later, the real winner emerged(God's factor)
I don't believe election result is decided at the polls, neither do I believe your manifesto or your past records can make you win election. If the aforementioned things are factors, then Charles Soludo should be a governor by now, Pat Utomi also comes to mind.
One advice to APC, keep watching PDP. They just proved to you one thing you didn't have, POWER. They are in power, let them do everything they can do, and when God says it is time, things will definitely happen.
Boycotting the election doesn't change anything.
We've seen past leaders who had powers and misused them, Ghadaffi comes to mind, Al Mubarak comes to mind, Idi Amin is still remembered, Sadam Hussein nko? Lets just let the will of God prevail.
My write up may look biased, don't mind me. The first thing I thought of was what I typed, since I am no supporter of APC, I am more of a PDP, but hey! We know the right from the wrong.

As long as the handover date has not been shifted, I don't see the reason for APC foul play cry since they are certain of their victory unless they are scared that their juju will have expired before the 6 six weeks.

In my own view, the postponement is in favour of APC. According to INEC they have not been able to distribute PVC properly in Lagos, Ogun, Kano and Kaduna, more also security issues in Adamawa, Yobe, Maduguri and Gombe. Now if you ask me APC kinda have upper hand in this states. For me Jaga made a smart and intelligent move. If the election had hold as scheduled and shits happened the entire world will crucify Jaga.. But with this move if shits still happens on the 28th, the blame won't be on him because he tried to avoid shits from happening.... I support his move. My own opinion.

How did he do right thing by postponing just a week to go. Maybe if he shifted it before inec released the election time-table or even a month ago, then it would have been okay. But the timing shows that their is an ulterior motive. And lastly using Boko haram as the excuse leaves so much to be desired. Be honest with yourself, do you think the Nigerian Army can perform any magic within the next six week. Let us be realistic

Jonathan is an inferior whose image has already taken a dent. He is being insulted daily locally and internationally and cant win any elections. It his government handling the war in the north east that has caused the problem we are taking about. Prepare for more insults and disgrace on twitter and other media. NNPC files are with APC and a lot will be released. The little northern support for Jonathan has already disappeared and I am telling you Dr Clueless will not be able to face elections. The NSA is the most powerful. man now but how to handle Buhari is critical for Interim National Government ...as for this A level zooligy teacher. he is finished.
Thank God you mentioned twitter and social media because beyond those platforms, APC is as irrelevant as the last two letters in okay. The teaming masses who will defy the odds to vote on election day are not on social media. You can keep insulting the office of the President as much as you like but one thing is certain, you guys would only smell Aso rock in your wet dreams.
Please when you guys are done, you can crown the certificateless mofo your president on Twitter. Don't dare take to the streets when APC loses cos the soldiers wey go deal with u guys that day go pass the ones unleashed on your bokoharam brothers.
