Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note II will also get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, although it hasn't yet confirmed the date.

The announcement was made by Samsung Poland via a tweet. It is worth noting that the South Korean company usually updates it flagship devices for around 1.5 years, but the Note II seems to be an exception as it has been more than two years since the device was launched.
The news comes just a day after the Galaxy Note 4 started receiving the Lollipop update in Poland.

I can't wait to get mine.

Well from the screenshot you posted you're obviously on Jelly Bean (4.1.2), which in this day and age is unacceptable.... You should be on KitKat at least (that's 4.4.2)....

You should download the OS manually and flash with a PC... It's a pretty straightforward process, upgrade that phone ASAP... it's too depressing that someone is still using 4.1.2

LOL... Not Yab... But very good advice.... You should even consider rooting your phone and embracing Custom ROMs..... That's a better option if you ask me... Stock Samsung ROMs are known to carry too much Crapware and Bloatware

You don't have to root your phone, just continue to do the OTA update until you get to the latest firmware.

Repeat what you did to get the 90mb update, you have to do it again and again until you get to kitkat.

You will need a lot of mb (data) to get there.

Trust me, KITKAT is worth it.

Lollipop is not in a stable state now, pls don't upgrade yet.. It will make your phone heat up, drain your battery, etc

Well waiting for the OTA may take forever, after all this while and in this era that Jelly Bean is almost extinct you checked for OTA update and you only got the 90MB Jelly Bean update.... That's a pretty clear sign that you may never see KitKat via OTA, let alone Lollipop..... So Yes, it's a very terrible idea ✔

So waiting for OTA is hopeless... Either download the latest OS and flash via PC, or root and flash custom ROM.... Rooting is straight forward, Google is always your friend, and he'll give you all the Intel you need

pls help with d easy method to follow in other to root and best ROM to flash on it DAT will make me experience beta kitkat . thanx guys

AT&T blocked their Hotspot feature.. So that will never work for you.... You can use a third party app to use the Hotspot feature.... Or root your phone and install a Custom ROM.... You can root easily using Towel root apk
