I'm sick and tired of the antics of most Nigerian Universities,so I feel the National Open University will be a better option.
But then,i will like to know what the school fees lokks like.Am intending to put in for a course in the arts.
Pls,tell me if noun offers admission into faculty of law at degree level(am a secondary school certificate holder),

When is the next admission programme starting?
Re: National Open University (NOUN) Question And Answer by bilms(m): 5:38pm On Nov 19, 2008
if what u need is what u jst stated, i think the national open university is a right place for u.

do u have ur o level papers complete for law? if yes, then u will get i at noun.

secondly, the school fee is 2500 naira per semester.

we pay for course units and course materials.

A 2unit course and its course material(handout) plus the exam fee cost 2500 naira. so if u have 9 course for that semester, u are paying the total of 2500 x 9courses.

thats ur fees for that semester.

if u have other question, feel free here.

\cheers

Re: National Open University (NOUN) Question And Answer by deleson: 7:52pm On Nov 20, 2008
Thanks folks for your response.

The next clause on the list is that of recognition.
Most people are telling me that the school is not well known and as such the possibilities of getting employed with the school's certificate is questionable, info.pls,

Is is true, /??
Re: National Open University (NOUN) Question And Answer by bilms(m): 10:44am On Nov 21, 2008
those who said the school is not recognised, the question u will ask them is how do they define the word recognition? and b4 a school can be recognised, who will recognise the schoo?

those schools they claim are recognised schools, who recognised them?

so the answer is if the body that recognise the genuinty of a university in Nigeria still remain the the National University comission, them u have to check the website of the national university commission to see the schools that are recognised in Nigeria.

www.nuc.gov.ng

there u can comfirm maybe the school is recognised of not.

but for ur information, those saying that are only talking without knwoledge
