Despite the brilliant performances of the Catalans, Joe Hart pulled off an impressive ten saves to keep the goal margin between both sides respectable. After the game, Joe Hart received praises from his opponents and team mates. Watching the game, anyone could see the gap between the class of players of both sides. Despite Manchester City spending Hundreds of Millions of pounds on players, it is bothering that the side could be easily outclassed by Barcelona. I think after no English team made it into the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, English Premier League clubs should check their preference of players. Most English clubs rely on pace and power, neglecting how important skill is. I think this is the reason Manchester City and English sides failed, not tactics or strategies. I hope clubs use the next transfer window and welcome skillful players who are good with the ball. It is astonishing, watching Jordi Alba and Dani Alves (defenders), do things with the ball that Silva and Nasri (City's most skillful players) find difficult to do.
