This place was an abandoned poultry house. Got cleared. Mounds were made: few lines as you can see.
Marketmore variety was planted on Tuesday 24-03-15. Watered in very well. No herbicide was applied simply for the fact that it is just few lines. It will be weeded manually when it is time

Next is trelis. Cucumber can be grown rambling on ground. While trelising it will produce more quality fruits.Trelis are made of different types. This is a simple wooden one. When the plants emerge, strings will be dropped from the bar lying across.

Great thread and thanks for sharing.

What kind of seeds are you using?

And to all the cucumber farmers in the house: What's the best seed for robust yield?

Cheers.

@Primegold, do u mean variety or source of the seeds? To my little experience, varieties of cucumber are many. Each suits different purpose, climatic condition and type of soil. It will be difficult to answer that question on a clear cut mode. Try to describe your soil type and region. I will then recommend, if i could.
