I'm not a big fan of Bale so i aint too excited abt the prospect of seeing him at United. He's a good player no doubt but after Di Maria i dont think he's worth our 70+ million pounds that we'll be buying him coz i dont see Madrid sellin him less than dat. Not to talk of his wages as we'll def be paying above 250-300k per week. Currently our wage bills is the highest in EPL and we should be looking for ways to reduce dat and not add to it. Tho for a club like United money is never a problem. Besides if Madrid want him out so bad then dey should come collect 30mill for him. And if we re dat willin to spend big on wingers then i'd prefer we look at Réus

Besides in Bale's last Epl season 12/13, i'd have taken Walcott over him. The only thing was Bale had more goals but Walcott was more consistent especially at the 2nd half of the season. And we all know the English media love British players who score 20+ goals a season. Just like Kane

Lool. Look at all those u mentioned including Bale. All wingers and/or strikers. And attackers today are easily the most hyped players in football regardless of personal achievements. Ronaldo at 80mill had 40 goals to his name in one season and dat number has considerably risen every season since then. Bale scored 20 last season and now has 12 and given his and Madrid's form right now i dont see him surpassing 20 this season. For an 80 mill kinda player thats bad and only proves more dat he's overhyped. C'mon look at players like Lacazete in a league dat has Lavezzi, Ibra, Cavanni he has like 23 goals(more than Kane who i believe is just anoda overhyped British player as next season ll soon tell us) and he's not even worth 25mill

Pius ikedia and Tijani Babangida were arguably the quickest players in Africa at that time. Pius was Nigeria's version of Shaun-wright-Philips...plenty of pace but little tactical awareness and Ofcourse, zero end product!!

Ikedia was never a quick player or a runner. He could dribble and stop, then dribble the next man in a walking pace, but he was a good dribble along the touch line, zigzagly in and along the touch line while taking away markers slowly.

You guys did not watch Ikedia I guess. You were reading about him in the papers. Go and watch how he played the U-20 world cup for us and how he was moving like a 'snail' past his markers.
