what else do u expect. Fraud is fraud and wen detected, will be punished. Irrespective of how d secret got exposed, he hd to be punished for it. For all dos who are blaming d wife for doing what is normal for her to do, u beta check ursef.
Ask ursef dis questions: "Did d husband tell d wife the truth about how he got d money for d mansion?" And
"If d woman didn't give a testimony, won't d whole world still know abt d building wen they move into d compound?"
In my opinion, the wife is not to blame @ all. The man was just untruthful and selfish.

A lot of people here are castigating the poor woman for the testimony though she might not be aware that her husband was'nt totally straight.

That's how God exposes people who are thieves and yet come to His house and use their ill gotten wealth without repentance. The wife should have known that whatever the salary of her husband is, it can't build such a mansion coupled with family expenses if he is not stealing from his place of work. Well, it will dawn on them that you cannot please God with ill gotten wealth and His miracles are not magic. Let them sack him and also sieze the house because God's name is not associated with stealing, fraud and other vices and those who are preparing their testimonies in church over their ill gotten expectations to fool members should be warned as the wrath of God awaits you all.

did the man build the house from his salary? does he have other business? what are his other sources of income, how much is his salary> when we start asking these questions people will think twicw before taking what does not belong to them. As one pastor puts it when u pay tithe and offering from ill gotten wealth you are reporting yourself to God.

If the company doesn't have any evidence of him defrauding them, I see no reason why he should be sacked.

What if he won a government contract that fetched him the millions he used in building the house, would they still insist on sacking him despite the fact that the money he used in building the house wasn't theirs? That would be pure jealousy.

But if its been established (after proper investigations) that he was involved in a fraud, then I'm of the opinion that he should be sacked and handed over to the appropriate authorities to face the wrath of the law.

Very often we use testimony time as an opportunity to show off achievements. Regardless of how the husband made d money, why all d details.

You give a testimony abt God blessing you with a car and you add the details: tear rubber, N12.3m, leather interior, LCD screens ,etc,etc...Maka why na!!

What happened to simple "God blessed me with a car/house/good job...and I bless His name"

Hope husband doesn't come back soon with his own testimony of how he's found a new/more reasonable wife

In Nigeria it is bad manners to talk while eating. She wanted to show her fellow prayer warriors that she has a hotline to heaven. Now heaven has answered.

She was only a woman who thought her husband's hard earned money was able 2 give them a mansion not knowing he was a fraud, testimony or not d truth must surely prevail.

I agree with you.

This is nothing more than bloggers concocting stories that will sell.

First, he can't simply be sacked unless he's found to have committed an offense.

Second, he could have built the house from lottery winnings or inheritance.
