wow!!!! after watching the video I must say these acts are almost eerie!! at first I suspected it must be some sort of optical illusion but honestly....I am not sure of that either! the video quality isn't bad. I suspect you used portrait orientation rather than landscape orientation while you were filming the clip hence the orientation on YouTube...

You see these performers all over London.

All it is is a seat that they sit on. The seat is attached to that pole they appear to "hold" onto, and they hide it all with their costume.

The gold painted guy is seating on something. The seat is welded to the base through a rod that runs through his trousers. I was intrigued when I first saw something similar in Trafalgar square until I figured it out. Similar logic used by the guy in the video only that the support is through his arm to the standard. You'd notice that they never move the arm or leg the support passes through.

Hahaha you are right. But what about the silver painted guy? I saw him moving his hands, legs, head etc, i still cant figure what hes standing on?
Is that shovel giving him any kind of support or something

Look at what he is holding. It goes right into his jacket, down his body to his feet.

The funny part is they allow someone watch the trickery in the act, that is, if you come early enough to see them set everything up. A black man will try his best to hide it, no different from an assignment he spent all night thinking up a solution to.
