I like the way our coach has cut kelechi down to size. Whether u r playing in man city or Bayern Munich, you don't perform you get a first class seat on the bench while someone from pepsi academy who is ready to give his all plays. Simple.

Personally i am nt scared of thé Germans bt peeps fear of Germany spans from d fact that they came to this WYC as European champions beating this same Hungary 4-0 in d semis. Plus they have scored 16 goals and conceded 2 in this tourney.

For me Germany may look more convincing this far bt i believe our boys can beat them if d coaches make d right selection and d boys put their all into d game.

Yeah I get the source where their fear stems from.

But I think it's wrong to be 'afraid' of a team you haven't watched personally. To be afraid of a team because you have seen on paper how they are on a free scoring run is nothing short of amazing.

And your view point as to how we can defeat the German, is quite correct. But I don't think picking the 'right' team should be the TOP worry of the coach.

But his main worry should be deploying the right tactics for such a game.

The Germans are lightening sharp in attacking, and have sharp shooting midfielders (guys like Mukhtar and Stendera) and attackers.

Their gameplan is mainly to overwhelm the opponents. They do little or no defending. And they press diligently high up the pitch.

Nigeria have to be compact. If possible play a 5-3-2 with lightening fast strikers (Success and Awoyini), tough tackling midfielders. This was the formation Ghana used at some stage in their triumphant run in this same competition some years back.

Use the wings, cross the ball well, cos they have weaknesses defending crosses and set pieces.

With the right formation and tactics, we can do it.
