As an Arsenal and premier league fan, I can't help noticing that the last three champions league have been won by Bayern, Madrid, and Barca in that order, Three of the richest football clubs in the modern football.

Madrid and Barca courtesy of their financial muscle keep poaching the premier league year after year for best talents, while premier league must make do with second tier talents from la liga. Ronaldo,Henry Modric, Bale and now Suarez, premier league clubs have failed to hold unto their best talents when it mattered most, Barca and Madrid can poach them, but no top premier club gets to poach Madrid and Barca stars, we only get those they deem surplus to requirements eg Sanchez, Ozil and Dimaria.

Bayern have the monopoly of the German talent market and they have the financial muscle to hold unto their stars and prevent Madrid and Barca from poaching them, this is why they have been able to challenge Madrid and Barca favourably in Europe.

The premier league New TV deal is going to change the climate of club football in Europe for atleast a decade. Barca and Madrid Will lose their financial advantage, and won't be able to poach premier league stars again! But might now even start losing their own stars to premier league clubs. It is a mouth watering prospect. We will see how they will cope.

Let's be factual; Neymar had a great game. He was never muscled out of d game. He was a thorn in Lichiensteiner's flesh throughout the game. He contributed to two goals in the match; tho he played better in d 1st half.
He controlled Alba's pass very well to make space for himself at d edge of d box before spotting Iniesta's run. You know wat happened next.
For d 3rd goal, he stayed onside to recieve a pass from Pedro and kept his head to slot d ball between Buffon's legs into d net.

Bro, the number one reason why Spain and Germany are bossing European clubs currently is their youth football system.
For every big name Madrid or Barcelona signs, there are hundreds of home-grown players that have been produced and exported.
Madrid's philosophy over the years which was championed by Perez was to buy the best feet that football could offer. Hence the big money transfers.
But Barcelona on the other hand, powered by tiki-taka, decided to produce their players.
Hence, out of the starting XI yesterday, Barcelona had 4 players who came from La Masia. Add d substitutes to it and you have 6! In the finals against Man Utd, d numbers are higher.
How many players can Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Man City or Liverpool boast that have come through their academies. Little wonder Spain dominated world football in recent years.
Watch a bundesliga match and you'd be suprised how young their players are and d quality of football they play. Little wonder Germany won d world cup. I agree that Bayern has financial muscle than other teams in Germany but they're not d only ones using their financial weight to win titles. Chelsea and Man City did it and PSG is currently doing it.
The EPL thrived in recent years cos of d influx of foreign footballers and coaches not because of home grown talents. No wonder England have turned into noisemakers at the world cup. Or how do you explain EPL's success and England's failure to win trophies at d world stage (including under-age football competitions)?
