I was just wondering how in my travel across cities, rustic or urban, in our great country, I never came across deadbeat cars like I saw in Ibadan the Oyo state capital. though without doubt a cosmopolitan city with an abundance of structural historical relics, the state of some contraptions of rust and steel plying the roads of the city is nothing short of bewildering amusement. I mean cars of the same age that would be regular daily drivers in other cities would be totally ragged out on the roads of Ibadan. is it the state government, the quantity of vehicles on the road, the people's vehicle and road use manners, or the vehicles themselves, or are the vehicles just resonating with the rustic quality of the city as a whole? I really can't tell. to look at the commercial buses is another story to tell.

The poster of the other pictures is not the op. He posted pictures from Edo state.
The orange Lada in the picture is not rickety. It's only an ancient car, the owner can actually be commended for keeping a relic on the road.
