MSorryabt d denials,d truth is dat wen applying for admission Ur statement of purpose is key.its not jst CGPA or work experience,it's ur ability to sell Urself with a sound statement of purpose, U wld b suprise someone wit 3.5 will get admitted,so my candid advise is to write a sound nd convincing SOP wen applying again.

Please I need information on how to emigrate to Canada as a registered Nurse.

Thanks.

Justwise and crew, please.
If you don't have a degree in Nursing yet, u'd be registering as a practical Nurse.. But u can come in to do a PGD program in critical care/gerontology/palliative care den move from there. But if u wanna come in upon completion of ur degree, den u can start the process for RN registration while studying either at PGD or Msc level.

ENGLISH as a second language costs about 5000 CAD at Niagara college.

am nt sure if she needs to write any English exam if it just for the sake of accompanying you.

but if her intentions are to work and school she would need an English assessment exam
Thanks bros .;, I want to be the one to accompany her because there visa is very easy . I want to arrange 1 year English programme for her so that I can join her ..

Hello house,

1. Please when filling the application for study permit form, how do I indicate the co-sponsor as I only have options of parents, myself or others?

2. Am I supposed to fill this new form for lagos office visa instructions (IMM5832E) cos I haven't seen peeps in here filling such?

3. Under total funds available for my study in canada, it has to be summation of tuition + $10000 CAD (i.e Room & Board $5000 CAD + Others $5000 CAD) right? or the total amount my sponsors have to offer me.

Thank you all. cheesy

Hello great people in the house, please kindly enlighten me on this Canadian admission; I applied for M.Eng Chemical engineering @University of Ottawa, although part of the requirements is that 'B in Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related courses' then they also accept minimum of second class lower for the course. I had second class lower division and I applied. So am left with the transcript stuffs. My final CGPA was 2.91. Although I graduated in 2010 and have atleast 2 years plus work experience, though work experience is not stated as requirement.

My question is do I stand a chance of getting admission base on the requirements of 'B in Bachelor degree? Thanks for your response

I suggest you don't call anyone (seems to me like a scam waiting to happen, no offence to the guy that gave you d number) I know someone who had almost same issues, just an alphabet was mis-spelt in his passport and he had to go down all the way to Abuja and was charged 80K, no call person, go collect fake passport.
Find your way to Abuja Immigration office, atleast that's what everyone with pp issues here have done.

My two cent.

Hi all. Pls I need very important advise from you all. I stumbled on this thread weeks after my dad paid a supposed visa agent for my trv haven processed my admission myself. we submitted all required docs to him. We got medical call weeks later and then paid tuition and accommodation. shortly after, I got a mail that the bank statement was forged.

Now I have almost two years work experience in the same field I applied for (Msc comp sci) and I plan applying to the same school again, this time with my company as sponsor and my dad has co-sponsor. In addition to the required docs, I want to submit:
1) Letter of apology. stating what really went down again
2)Reference letters from 2 national/international personalities with unquestionable reputation. Still on the apology matter
thanks

I'm not sure about including a letter of apology. If you feel you must address the past issue then just one paragraph in your Letter Of Explanation should be sufficient for that. You have to be careful not to come across as "begging" the VO, so that they don't take it as another sign of desperation. Best of luck!

I did upfront medical on June 2nd, I submitted online on June 3rd, Biometrics on June 4th. I didn't get any CIC mail, I just checked yesterday and saw medical passed, then an email notification for passport request message today.

When you submitted online and did biometric June 4th, Did you bother tracking your application on VFS? and did it track? Did you receive any SMS from VFS that your application has been forwarded?

Wakanow is cool, I've used them for all my foreign trips. But I got a trick the last time, try booking late at night, between 12 and 5am, just try and stay awake and keep refreshing the page. This is because prices drop so ridiculously at night, and goes crazily high during the day, I gained close to 200k last time I tried it, although I booked pretty late, abt a week to my trip. Then if you're still skeptical about them, then no problem (I was also scared too), book on hold (you can do that online and it lasts for 48hrs or so), then rush to their office to make payment (either with cash or debit cards). I don't know all their offices in Lag, but if MM2 is close to you, then they have a stand inside the airport (local airport), else you can check their website for their other address(es).
You can also check TripAdvisor (if you use a samsung phone or an android os phone), or check www.priceline.com, you can also check www.momondo.com, just be sure to compare prices before you make payments.
Good luck

Really informative. Many thanks

I think a round trip is beneficial if you know the period you'd like to come visiting.
The flexi-date ones make a lot of sense cos it allows you to adjust your dates 24hours before the departure date you choose, I think that costs like 15k extra or so.
I stand to be corrected

Hello house pls I need clarifications on this question from the online questionnaire.

"Have you visited or lived in any one of the designated countries for 6 consecutive months in the last year? Yes or No?"

I actually chose YES but I wana be sure I'm right.

Btw I would also like to know the point at which I would decide if I wana do upfront medicals or not.

Thank you all. cheesy

Whether you tick Yes o. or you tick No o, all na the same thing. The aim of that question is to help CIC determine whether or not they should send you for medical test. But whether you tick yes or no, you will still be sent for medicals when you qualify. Having said that, the correct answer to tick is "YES". Nigeria is one of the designated countries and you have lived in Nigeria for 6 months consecutively.
