Dear gurus, I use an Automatic 2000 toyota camry. The transmission oil level is low and I don't know if the oil in the gearbox is dexron II or III. Due to this, I want to replace my transmission oil. Will it be safe to use Sea Horse dexron IIID atf? Or can I just top it. I don't want to loose my gearbox. |

Yes, dextron II or III will do a fine job but please I beg you, stay away from seahorse, the brand has been compromised. You can call me for other good brands. Depending on when last the oil was replaced, you can either add to it (if its lower than required) or go for a full change. 1 Like |

Fortune13:Since you are not sure of what type of atf currently there , then is better to drain it off and refill with new dextron3. |
