Op, u should be advising serving corps members to take their Skills Aquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training serious. They can be self reliant after service with that. Several corps members don't taking this skill aquisition serious. The fact is that, not everybody will land that dream job after service irrespective of ur proffessional certifications and dressing. Unless u have a strong connection. My advice are: 1: Take your SAED training serious 2: save up for biz name registration and start up. 3: always learn to start small. I'm currently serving in Delta State since two months ago. I've already learn barbing and fish farming within 2months and still going for more skills. I won't look for any job after service. I'll start up my own busines with little from the allawe and loan collected from friends. I don't have time walking up and down because of 100k per month job. Is better to start from somewhere, be happy with my little income than doing yes sir for one idiot boss. In due time, i will be my own boss. It will also give me time to venture for other skills. #enterpreneurship pays. 4 Likes |

i don't know how good you are with auto card now, but you really need to acquire professional certification in designing. go for auto cad application courses or PDMS (PLANT DESIGN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ) COURSES. it will present you with more opportunities than your certificate in Agricultural Eng.
