It's cube iwork8 tablet, there is a pin hole provided for charging, and a USB port on the tablet, I plugged in the charger into the USB port before. And now its no longer working again. I don't know if its the charger that spoilt the USB port(which I suppose wasn't meant for charging)

A few days ago, I used my device at night and woke up the next morning with my note screen saying- "Encryption failed"
"Unable to complete encryption due to interruption. Perform factory data reset(erasing all your data) before use. After resetting, try encrypting device again."
Then there's a "reset device" button down below, which I pressed and pressed for hours without any action, or response.
I googled, different sites, and also videos on youtube, and the suggestion i got is to flash the device.
So I downloaded 2 different versions of Odin3 to flash it so as to install another downloaded firmware from Sammobile.com, but its just telling me "FAILED" several times.
I went to SAMSUNG office, they said its saying "FAILED" too and returned it to me since the warranty is over.
Now, I don't know what to do. Can someone help?

it has a custom rom (spaosp 4.4.3) in it with carliv recovery.

I can't charge it unless I switch it off.

if I want to charge it while it is on, I need to tinker with some settings under hardware testing in engineer mode.

if I take pictures with it, the phone just goes off.

computer says the device is unrecognized whenever I connect it to pc.

pls, what could be the problem and how can i resolve it?

A few weeks back I ran an update on my Sony Xperia Z3 dual and sometime later I discovered that I can't check my account balance. Whenever I dial any ussd code it appears as if it's trying to connect but doesn't.
