Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is set to join WestBrom. The two clubs have agreed a fee for the Northern Ireland international with only a medical needed to complete the transfer. West Brom will pay £6m up front with another £2m in add-ons. Evans has been at United his whole career and has made 198 appearances for the club. Tony Pulis admitted he was interested in the deal earlier this afternoon. He said: "I would love to sign Jonny Evans. I think he would be a great signing. "Now it’s down to the money men and his side. Three parties have to agree: the two clubs and the player himself." |

At this stage it is probably better for both United and Evans' career that they part ways.. The dude for some reason lost his decisiveness post Fergie.. I wish him well. .. In other news.. . I was seeing somewhere that the sale of Evans has brought our net spend to zero  Some idıots won't put this into consideration when next they attempt a failed attempt at trolling us on the number of players we've bought Guys there's still money to spend.. . And I believe the club is really looking out for a marquee signing, hence the alleged muller bid, which is now much more believable... I don't think it's out of order to still expect transfer activity before the close of the window. .. I think for Plato, it's marquee signing or nothing else .. . Which is fair enough And he didn't deem Pedro marquee enough.. Justification or otherwise for this will come much later.. . |

Tvegas: LVG has 3 years to spend at United! A year is gone already, and he's in his 2nd year! He has vowed to bow out once his contract expired. He's simply at United for two objectives; (1) to build a formidable Team (2) to train and prepare Giggs as the next Manager after him. We are back in the Champions League, a year after we missed out. The Team is showing sign(s) of improvement game after game. There is more to come from LVG! |

I don't get people here shouting "sack Plato" just cos we r not playing an attractive kind of football...yet. Granted the man can be annoying most times ,playing players out of position n d incessant slow buildup play in our matches but he has done a lot for this team n some ppl can argue that he did it with the cash spent on transfers. He got rid of d deadwoods in our team ,made us deadly at home again n got us to d UCL after a horrible season under David "the chosen one" Moyes. Nobody can ever replace SAF no matter how they try so we all have to adjust to a new system n quit whining like tykes. He knows if he doesn't win anything this season then it's over for him ,either this season or the next when his contract will end so let's all activate our siddon look mode n watch as things unfold. LVG whether u like it or not is exactly the kind of coach we need ,a strict no nonsense arrogant n annoyingly experienced coach to guide this our new team to the next level, he might not be the Messiah but he might just be the path to the promised land. |
